About

Doug Weber grew up in Topeka, Kansas, and attended Kansas State University in Manhattan. A scholarship athlete, he was captain of the men's cross country and track and field teams, and was a world ranked distance runner. The excellent year-round training weather in Phoenix was one of the reasons he chose to relocate to Arizona and attend Arizona State University College of Law. While Doug no longer runs competitively, he supports the continued development of endurance sports and youth athletics in Arizona, and has represented world-class athletes in personal injury claims.Doug has practiced law in Arizona for more nearly forty years, always on behalf of injured plaintiffs and those that have suffered loss. He discovered early on that he derived the most satisfaction as a lawyer when working to help the victims of negligence or abuse. Doug works closely with his clients to get to know them as people and to develop a complete understanding of their injuries and losses. His efforts are always designed to insure that, should litigation become necessary on a case, his clients are well-informed, comfortable with the process, and skillfully represented. Doug has litigated cases in several states, and tried cases to verdict in Arizona and Nevada. The son of a Kansas farmer and engineer, Doug has always valued hard work and preparation, and has helped to make this a universal ethic in his law office. We appreciate that our clients have put their trust in us, and believe they deserve our best efforts on their behalf, in return. Doug always keeps this a point of focus in every case. Each client is unique, and deserves to be treated as the individual they are. Doug handles a fairly diverse variety of cases, from motor vehicle collisions, to construction site accidents, to aviation claims. The common thread in all – and the aspect which Doug most enjoys – is that every case requires he learn something new. Developing a personal relationship with his clients, and continuing to explore new areas of medical or technical thought, are the reasons he still looks forward to going to work.Doug has been married for more than thirty years to one of Arizona's premier special-needs teachers. Though retired now, Julie Weber has, at various times, taught learning-disabled, behavior-disordered, emotionally disturbed, and gifted children. In 1990, she established a high school curriculum within Desert Vista Hospital, a pediatric psychiatric facility. She and Doug have two adult sons - a firefighter and a budding lawyer - of which they are most proud.
