Byoung Jo Kang (강병조) is a business lawyer with an U.S. income tax expertise and represents U.S. taxpayers abroad or foreign taxpayers in the United States. He is also a Virginia licensed Certified Public Accountant.Mr. Kang earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Catholic University Columbus School of Law (2011), a Masters of Arts (M.A.) in Regional Studies: East Asia from Harvard University (2002), a Masters of Arts (M.A.) in Korean Literature from the Seoul National University (1999), and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Korean Literature from the Seoul National University (1997). He is fluent in both Korean and Japanese.Before establishing B.J. Kang Law PC, Mr. Kang worked as an Attorney for Flott & Co., served as the Director of Finance and Administration for the National Communication Association, and as both the Controller and Vice President for the Middle East Institute (2007-2010). He was employed at Diamond Properties, LLC as the Assistant Controller (2006-2007) and was a member on the financial staff for the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University (2002-2006). In addition, Mr. Kang also practiced as an Enrolled Agent for eight years (2004-2012) before the Internal Revenue Service. Prior to coming to the United States, he co-founded one of the first online education companies in South Korea (2000).
