Like many of us, you suddenly find yourself in a situation where you need an attorney but you see hundreds of them listed. My ex-wife had hired an attorney from Franklin Mass who was touted as a "super attorney" by his firm. Needless to say, I was concerned. In short, I cannot say enough about Bruce. He is not only a wonderful guy, his 30 plus years of doing this made the "super attorney" look inexperienced. For over a year we heard opposing counsel say "this won't happen..." and that won't happen, taking cheap shots along the way. Bruce handled everything professionally and these things DID happen (as Bruce said they would) and we won. That said, no one wins in a divorce. But if you need to go through this miserable process, you'll want Bruce. He'll carefully explain things, listen, and firmly correct you when you do something stupid (like I did on a few occasions). He is well-liked by opposing attorneys and judges. And, Bruce charged HALF what the supper attorney did. Just a wonderful guy. You won't go wrong.
My divorce and custody process was challenging taking over six years to completion and Bruce came in as second council about three years into the case. Bruce was up to speed and engaged in getting the best outcome for me and my children. Bruce's knowledge, experience and compassion made navigating the case much easier. I would recommend Bruce to any and all friends and/or family in need of a seasoned and understanding attorney who cares about his clients.
How to proceed through a divorce. The first step I would recommend is to seek this gentleman's advice. I was faced with a divorce from a embittered spouse. Bruce and I met and his knowledge, intelligence and calm manner throughout the process made the difference. I have no reservations about my choice, if you are reading this and thinking of hiring someone, Bruce will take excellent care of you. I was reminded by Bruce throughout the process of the goal, that is to end this unhealthy relationship without causing irreparable harm to my children. I was able to take the 'high road' with confidence knowing that Bruce has a keen understanding of my situation, no matter how low the other side went. I will say that he did the work when it came to the financials and division. I was at a loss as how to proceed, Bruce was able to explain to me how it will all work out. I have two children that Bruce understood to be my main focus. He kept each one of them in the forefront of his thinking and together we were able to reach an agreement with the other side that kept my children protected from the process. The entire length of my proceedings, a year, Bruce was always in contact to keep me updated and allow me to keep him informed. While Bruce has assistants, to delegate some of his workload, I was always greeted by and met with Bruce.
I was in a car accident a couple years back that caused me to be in a lot of pain. I could barely sit or stand for 5 minute intervals at a time. I was unsure if Attorney Watson would take on my case, as I had only seen him listed as a divorce and criminal attorney. I went in for a consultation and explained all of my concerns to him, as I was a young mom of 3 at the time and could barely bathe my children or even sit comfortably at work. To my surprise he assured me that he would take on my case and do all that he could for me. Indeed he did. He made the process very easy and I won my case. I would highly recommend Attorney Watson as he is not your average attorney. Polite, caring and just gets the job done. What more can you ask for? I would recommend him 1 million %. Thank you Attorney Watson! -Noelle G.
A divorce is a trying time for any individual. Mr. Watson answered all my questions, gave excellent legal advice, helped with all the paper work, and represented me in court. He helped immensely with a rather complicated division of marital assets. His fees were very reasonable as compared other lawyers I contacted. Attorney Watson’s advice and work resulted in a satisfactory conclusion to my marriage which gave me much peace of mind to move on with my life. I highly recommend Attorney Watson.
I found Bruce through a recommendation of a friend's wife, who is a director of social work for the state of Massachusetts. It was obvious from our first meeting that she had led me to someone who she believed had great character, and within moments I felt the same. I immediately felt very comfortable with him, with his professional, matter-of-fact approach. One of the things that impressed me the most was his willingness to listen to my point of view. Bruce was quickly able to understand the dynamics of my pending divorce in a caring, yet tactful manner. He listened to my concerns, desires, and expectations, and then formulated a more aggressive defense, though very much within reason. Throughout the process, he kept me informed of each development and promptly responded to every one of my inquiries, as we worked together. In court, and even dealing with the other party, Bruce was very respectful and well spoken, treating the proceeding with the dignity that I had sincerely hoped for or imagined. All of these traits resulted in an practically seemless process, with a fair and equitable settlement. I would certainly recommend Bruce Watson to anyone who would care to be represented in the highest regard.
