Long story short, if you need help with estate planning you are in terrific hands with Tully Law Group. Elder law can be very confusing and difficult to navigate alone but hiring Brian's team was the best decision we've made so far! Now on to the longer story... Just so you, the reader, knows where I'm coming from, I'm an attorney licensed to practice law in New York. I practice tenant side rent stabilization law in New York City. I've been practicing law for about 7 years now, and I would never take a Medicaid application case. Sure, I could learn it, but it would take me months at the sacrifice of my mother's needs, and that isn't going to happen. That's where Brian Tully and his spectacular team of administration, legal, and social workers come into play. We needed help navigating the world of Medicaid qualification, which was incredibly difficult with the stress of caring for our family's medical needs. I can only imagine how tragic the process is for people with zero legal experience. We hired the Tully Law Group who helped us every step of the way, and you should too. They helped get my mother financially qualified, created her estate documents, and all other matters necessary. Importantly, Brian's team will take the time to explain and describe (and describe again, and again!) all the many moving and intersecting parts of Medicaid qualification. Most importantly, his team is super professional, compassionate, and they care (why else would they practice public interest law!). Every question we had, and we had a lot (and still have many), was thoughtfully answered. Our success with Medicaid is owed greatly to the Tully Law Firm. They are 100%.
This is an excellent elder care law firm with an excellent staff. I'd like to share an excerpt of an email I recently sent to Brian Tully... My father has been your client for about 18 months now. I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and your firm for your services. Your staff is always helpful and professional in all my dealings with them and it is appreciated. The reason for this specific email is to express my gratitude especially for Dana Marcinka. Recently my father's Medicaid application required recertification and the process was quite lengthy and difficult, frankly much more so than it could/should have been - I place the blame for this squarely on the City of New York and its agencies and their lapses in communication among other things. Above said, Dana worked tirelessly so that my father would achieve a positive outcome. She made and attended appointments with all necessary parties, ensured that everyone was regularly updated, submitted essential paperwork, and basically followed through on all aspects of the recertification (which has since been approved). I'm so glad for her help! We would have been lost without her. So, again, I just wanted to offer my thanks and appreciation for Dana and to let you know as well. Thank you.
Brian Tully and the team are trustworthy, honest and brilliant people that answer to the highest standards of the law and moral excellence. I was amazingly satisfied with the service provided. I would highly recommend them to those closest. I did! My Mother and best friends!
I highly recommend the Tully Eldercare Law firm. We have been using this firm for the past 3 years. Initially they prepared a will, trust, POA, healthcare directive and proxy, and we annually retain their services as healthcare managers and coordinators. They are knowledgeable, competent, efficient and easy to deal with, and will delve into any issues or problems that may arise. Dealing with the governmental bureaucracy can be extremely frustrating and aggravating. They have made an unmanageable experience manageable, and eliminated the grief.
I highly recommend Tully Law PC when it comes to elderly care. Caring for the elderly is such a complicated task when we want to love our parents the best we can, while still maintaining our own sanity juggling our marriage, children, and careers. I felt my physical and emotional life drained out of me the moment my elderly parents moved in with our young family. We need so much help, but my husband and I were left to care for them. Out of desperation, I asked Tully Law PC to help. This group is God-send and they were so caring every step of the way, from consultation, to wills/health proxies, to advising the elderly’s financials and benefits. We felt total support from them and they have taken away so much stress out of this aspect of our lives, that they helped turning this daunting task into a joy to care for our elderly parents. Thank you Tully Law PC for what you do, and how you do it.
As parents of two young adult sons with special needs, we sought legal expertise to establish a special needs trust for them. We were advised to meet with Brian Tully. We found him to be patient and kind, notably to our sons. He listened to our concerns and together we developed the particulars of the trust. In subsequent meetings and conversations, Brian and his legal team explained its complexities in a way we could clearly understand. The entire process was accomplished in a timely, professional, and compassionate manner. With their guidance and expertise, we are confident that we now have the best possible plan to support our sons' well-being.
My mother hired Brian when my parents moved back to New York from Florida to redo their wills and estate planning; at the time my father was in the mid stages of Alzheimer's Disease. Brian was/is kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. He made what could have been an emotionally difficult task for my mother stress free. When my parents passed, and there was extreme tension between my brothers, as the attorney for the executor of my parents estate, his experience, compassion and patience prevailed! i cant recommend Brian and his team highly enough!
Brian was very easy to work with, and put our minds at ease. My wife especially was anxious dealing with this new chapter of our life. Brian and his staff couldn't have done a better job making my wife feel comfortable and safe. We recommended Tully law to friends of ours, who also were just as satisfied.
