Brian A. Mick practices exclusively immigration law including employment-based and family-based immigration at ImLaw. His experience includes preparing nonimmigrant/temporary work visa applications; investor visa applications including EB-5 direct and regional center applications; employment-based permanent residency (“green card”) including PERM labor certification applications, I-140 immigrant petitions (including Schedule A Physical Therapist and Registered Nurses and labor certification-exempt categories); fiancee visa petitions; family-based permanent residency (“green card”) petitions for spouses, children, parents, fiancees and siblings; and naturalization/citizenship applications.Brian earned his B.A. degree with Major in Community Leadership and Minors in Spanish and Business Administration from Aquinas College and his J.D. degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and graduated with honors from both schools. He was also a Quarterfinalist in Cooley Law School’s Fall 2010 Intra-School Moot Court Competition. Prior to becoming an attorney, Brian worked with Susan Im as a Law Clerk, Paralegal, and Legal Assistant in immigration law for over seven years.Brian is a graduate of the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce and Center for Community Leadership’s Emerging Leaders Series, Class of 2014. Brian is currently serving on the Catholic Lawyer’s Association Board and is the President of the Aquinas College Alumni Board. He is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the State Bar of Michigan.
