I was blessed to have Brian work on my child custody case. I found him very knowledgeable, he showed true concern for my case, put in many tireless hours, and was relentless in seeing justice served. His rates are extremely reasonable, and his counsel showed great discernment which only comes from nearly twenty years in his profession. I would recommend, and feel confident in referring Brian to any of my friends are family. He instilled hope that there are still attorneys in this world that practice law to make their communities and clients' lives better, and are not in practice to charge exhuberant retainers and fees.
This attorney explained that his only role was to "show up to court" and "make sure nothing bad happens" just a few days before court - though I contacted him twice at the beginning and the middle of the month - after paying him a substantial retainer in August. He was not only unfamiliar with my case at the court date, but he also refused to speak before court about the case or to review the documentation I brought to court. He prepared no defense throughout the process, and at the second hearing, which was in October, he claimed he was "new to the case" even though he was hired in July and received a second substantial payment prior to the October hearing. Since then, I have contacted him several times to resolve this issue, and he has not responded to any form of contact. In essence, I paid him a lot of money to receive no defense or preparation whatsoever, and as a result, I lost the case. I lost a child support case in which the father OWED money, and yet, I was ordered to PAY the father for attorney fees because the father was able to submit evidence, and my attorney submitted nothing. Not even a simple response to argue my point and NONE of the evidence I brought to court. None of my evidence was even considered. MOTHERS or FATHERS who are supporting their children alone while the absent parent has plenty of money to throw at good attorneys who will bury you in paperwork, DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN. He might be less expensive, but he will cost you more money in the long run. He will throw you to the wolves and avoid you afterwards. Note that he has no positive reviews at all anywhere.
