About

I do not personally speak Spanish but have a Spanish-speaking paralegal who assists  me. I have always opposed  the Government In litigation. I oppose the government by defending individuals charged with crimes and have been doing so for over thirty five years. I have ben defending immigrants against deportation/banishment  from the United States over twent years It is our country that affords us the opportunity to  oppose the Government in litigation and thereby serve the goals of the people. The goal is- a vigorous adversarial legal  system that facilitates justice. Why oppoose deportaction if immigrants? One compelling reason is that many immigrants have Ben brought to the United States as children and subsequently placed into deportation proceeding following criminal convictions on even minor criminal offenses although they are as American as anyone born here.  One worst case scenario is the immigrant is not told pre plea that he/she is virtually certain to be deported if he/she entered into a plea "bargain". . The bargain is entered into for a resolution to a criminal case that carries potential prison timeand the immigrant gets probation. But, this is just the beginning of deportation  looming over the immigrants' life here in the US. The US Supreme Court has stated that deportation  "deprives one of all that makes life worth living".  I represent clients  in criminal court, immigration courts, appellate court and file to set aside past convictions for individuals who for instance did not accurately receive the virtually certain immigrantsion consequences of their criminal conviction pre plea. I am a litigation attorney... and I can help. I have appeared in Circuit courts throughout the State of Oregon, before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and in immigration courts in Oregon and Washington. I have appeared and prevailed followup a murder conviction which was reversed before the Oregon Supreme Court Before the Ninth Circuit Court of appeals I have been able to reverse a deportation order to China which might have saved my client's life. I prevailed in front of the Board of Immigration Appeals in a important published case, In re Hadi Eslamizar 23 I&N 684 BIA (2004) which held that "aliens" convicted of "violation" offenses are not deportable. In November, 2016, I argued a case where I believe the Ninth circuit is likely to find that Oregon delivery of a controlled substance is not an "aggravated felony" under the immigration laws (see video of the oral argument). This prediction came true in Sandoval v Sessions. And,again in Cortes Maldonado who I also represented before the Ninth circuit.I have represented clients in Tacoma Washington, the NW Detention Center, who had already been ordered deported who through my efforts on their behalf are now citizens of the United States. I am now also handling asylum matters. For more information, please see my website at www.brianpatrickconry.com

Mr. Brian and his team are very professional people, apart from having a human treatment, our case was resolved favorably.

Years ago, in 2000, my husband had a DUII and DV IV, we were recommended Mr Bryan for a friend as one of the best, and they are not wrong, my husband was already detained in Tacoma for deportation and Mr Bryan was able to rescue his permanent residence that the judge had taken from him, I highly recommend Mr Bryan since they explained the process to us very well step by step and always answered all our doubts, now we are happily married and have a kid, 10 years old, Thank you Mr Bryan, if was not for you, my husband will be deported!

My time with Brian Conry was positive even in the during the stressful times. He and he's team always make me feel positive and my case important. Good communicators, keeped me updated on progress with my case. My tipe of case was not one that it could be easy to get it done and not many attorneys take that kind of cases to get resolved. Brian he never give it up and always been positive for my case. They are many representatives/attorney's out there; but I recomand Brian Conry with all my hearth to anyone needs any kind of help with the immigration law and you'll be happy.

He provided the best defense in an Immigration case. Got my Post Conviction Relief granted. He is fair, conscientious and mindful with his clients, and most over, he is very knowledgeable and resourceful. He is in to win!!

I was in he prosses of depression for having an aggravated felony on my record. I was 16 when my first original crime occurred. i was old enough to be charge as an adult. At the time it didn't seem like ICE would ever be involved. My court appointed lawyer assured me that he got me the best deal when In all reality he was crap. We could have went to trial and gotten better charges. I mean I wasn't innocent but the punishment did not fit the crimes. Anyways I thought I would just do my time and take what ever punishment they through at me. After having been released I was doing fine but ended missing a very important court date which caused a warrant out for my arrest. The judge was simply going to have a talk with me about the importance of my probationary guide lines and release me but it was out of the judges power when ICE got involved. You see I had just turned 18 witch meant that ICE was now was able to go after me. why they didn't before is because they don't tend to go after minors. Little did I know that one mess up would start a much bigger prosses. The only reason I'm letting you know all of this information is because Brian Conry was able to go back to where my previous lawyer messed up and get me a better deal. This brought my charges down. My old lawyer kept pressuring me to take a plea deal that he gotten for me. He could've gotten me something a lot less severe. Brian was able to accomplish this for me. After lowering my changes Brian petitioned the immigration Judge for my release. Which happened pretty quickly. Brian is a outstanding lawyer. Me and my Family are grateful to have found him. Worth every penny.

My family and i were looking for an attorney to help us apply for our residency card and we hired Brian Patrick Conry to help us apply. We were unsure of the process but we put our trust in Brian and he delivered. My family and I are currently permanent residents because of Brian's hard work and dedication to our case. We are more than happy with his services, he puts in time and work. He is very experienced and knows what he's doing, always answered our questions and kept us in the loop. He put our minds at ease when we had our doubts, he insured us that everything was going to go well, though it wasn't easy for us or him he kept his word. We don't regret hiring Brian and will most definitely hire him again when we apply for our citizenship.
