I had posted a very negative review on Mr. Waltrip and his office. This is a retraction. My extreme frustration was due to a complete miscommunication. Since that review, not only has the miscommunication been cleared up, but Mr. Waltrip has gone above and beyond in assuring that my case is receiving the attention it deserves. I would, and will, recommend this office to anyone in the need of a quality attorney.

I thought the best I could do was reduced to 7 over. Brandon was able to negotiate it to a dismissal as long as there are no tickets in 6 months. Great outcome that was not expected.

I had a very difficult custody case. Brandon gave me attention and help to work through my case. English is my second language and he was willing to work with me and find an interpreter for the court room. I did win, but more than winning he was there for me as a person. He worked with the GALs and doctors to ensure they understood my situation and he advocated for my position throughout. I can't say enough good things about him--I would definitely use him again in the future.

Mr. Waltrip is by far, the best at what he does. He was EXTREMELY professional, very courteous, and most importantly, he kept me up to date on the entire process. We interviewed several attorneys prior to retaining Mr. Waltrip. We found him to be down to Earth, humble, and respectful; but truthful and frank. He listened to our story with sympathy and sensitivity. He was completely realistic and reasonably managed our expectations. Also, he offered some novel suggestions about how we could conduct the case. Another great benefit was the fact that he lived in and knew the county in which our case was to be heard and he was familiar with both the judge and the opposing counsel. During the run up to the trial date, he and his staff were communicative and responsive to our questions. He kept us hopeful but realistic. He and his paralegal continued to be kind and polite. On the day of the trial, he was prepared and organized (not in the most traditional way). I must admit I was concerned watching his notetaking style, however when it came time to question and cross-examine, his mind was sharp and his words were articulate, clear, and hard-hitting. It was fun to watch. He had the passion of a competitive athlete and was hungry for victory. He jabbed, parried, and then closed for a knockout. He left the opposition flummoxed and completely outplayed. We didn't even need to call our witnesses. The preparation for and the experience of court was arduous and sometimes painful, but the outcome was as good as we could have expected. I am grateful to Mr. Waltrip and would recommend him without prejudice or reservation.

There are not superlatives for me to describe my experience with Mr. Waltrip and his staff. I came to Mr. Waltrip under an emergency transfer of custody situation. I came with my last dollars and a pray because I have experienced multiple, awful family law attorneys. I cannot explain the complete relief that came from retaining him, especially being cross country at the time of filing. Brandon, Paula, and the whole office took charge in a way I was not accustomed to. They were diligent, adamant, and communicative. They handled every step of my process without me having to ride them to do it, stress about what they were doing, or worry that they were not handling my case efficiently. They were so on top of it that, in my particular circumstances, the case was settled in less than a month. There was honesty up front, dedication all the way through, and a level of trust that is impossible to find in attorneys.
