I live in Florida but needed a lot of help with one of my siblings who is a Colorado resident. This sibling was suffering with dementia, in trouble with the IRS, and law enforcement. A safe place to live was needed, as well as a legal guardian and a conservator of the assets. I was referred to Mr. Fields by Elder Law attorneys I knew in the East. He quickly put together a team of professionals to solve my problems. A guardian and conservator were quickly appointed by a court in Colorado. A safe and wonderful place for my sibling to live was found, which specialized in dementia patients. The team that Brandon Fields put together eliminated the outstanding issues with law enforcement (charges dropped), and also got the IRS to discontinue all claims for back payments and penalties. Social security payments were re-instated. Throughout the process Mr. Fields served as the quarterback. He held a number of conference calls with myself and his team as they helped my sibling. I consider him a true professional. He's compassionate and very knowledgeable. I would recommend him without hesitation.
Brandon Fields is a knowledgable and compassionate attorney. He goes above and beyond to provide assistance and guidance when it comes to estate planning and legal matters. Brandon was hired to help update my mother's will and get things in order, when my mother was given a terminal diagnosis. With Brandon's knowledge and his warm and caring nature, my mom felt reassured that things were in place, so that her family was going to be taken care of in the way that she wanted. During this difficult time, Brandon was able to patiently and methodically take us through the process of estate planning. As her condition worsened, I found that all the necessary documents were in place to do what we needed to, on her behalf. Everything went smoothly, which was so appreciated during that heartwrenching time. Brandon's excellent counsel became even more apparent after she passed away. His previous attention to technical details and throughness enabled the process to move forward smoothly and exactly as we had wanted and needed. His caring and sympathethic nature and further guidance, helped us to get her estate settled in a timely and efficient manner. I found him to be accessible and more than willing to answer my on-going questions as he helped me through a process that I was totally unfamilar with. Once again everything went smoothly. I highly recommend Brandon Fields as an attorney!
We were referred to Mr. Fields for consult regarding Medicare concerns and because of the positive experience we had in our initial meeting with him we elected him for probate of our parent's will. It was a simple, straight forward will. There was one minor title snag that we have easily cleared up with an $11 fee and our own actions after we were charged nearly $997.50 by him for failing to accomplish that action. Additionally, he charged us for correcting errors that his legal assistant made, costing us $837.50 in addition to the $250 his assistant charged us for incorrectly providing the same services. In his favor, he offered to write off $975 because of the errors on his side. His inaccurate and inefficient services delayed transitions and impacted significantly on the outcome of our parent's business.
