I hired Brad for a lawsuit against a former business partner. Initially he was very engaged, But then he actually disappeared on me for three months. Not a word. Didn't reply to my emails, voice messages or text messages. Then he reappeared and apologized stating that he was too busy with other cases and would do this again to me. In November 2019 he asked me to gather and sort a whole bunch of emails. Took me a week to sift through 5 email accounts. I then sent him all the sorted emails that he requested. It is now March 31, 2020 and I have had limited if any contact with Brad; in spite of my repeated requests to talk and discuss the case. We even had a scheduled call that he completely ignored. He has on a few occasions emailed me, "I am on a call, call you in a bit" but I never hear back from him. His behavior has become more and more unusual and erratic. Communication between a lawyer and his client is key. With Brad it is just about non existent. I think that he wants me to fire him. But I have already paid him all the legal bills that he has sent me and would want my money back. He doesn't have a strong case if any to get court approval and resign since I am not delinquent in my payments to him nor have I committed any fraudulent acts.
