About
I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2007 and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of law in 2010.I have been representing disabled individuals ever since becoming a lawyer. I made a commitment early in my career to helping those most in need of strong legal representation and advocacy. My work consists of assisting Social Security claimants in their Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) applications and appeals. I handle Social Security cases at all levels, including in U.S. District Court. I have represented hundreds of claimants before Administrative Law Judges. I also represent US Veterans who have been denied service-connected disability. I am available for free consultations and case evaluations and am available to assist at every stage of the appeal process. Please contact my office at 249-336-9333 to schedule an appointment. I spend the time necessary with my clients to get their background information and help them through every aspect of this process, from completing paperwork to preparing them for their hearing. I assist in directing my clients to the necessary community and medical resources when needed. Although winning your claim is my number one goal, my work goes beyond trying to win. If there are issues after a favorable decision is issued, I regularly help my clients deal with hurdles like payment delays. The work I do on behalf of my clients continues long after my fees have been paid.

Bethany, also was able too obtained my social security disability as well. I suffer from multiple debilitating illnesses from Desert Storm. I am a Veteran, and encourage anyone who needs a great attorney, Bethany Versical is In your corner. Let her work for you. Thank you MM & EM
Even though I have decades of experience in the healthcare and insurance industries, I was intimidated by the SSD process. Having waited too long to leave my highly demanding job. my energies and capabilities were rapidly diminishing. The assistance, support and guidance allowed me to focus on adapting to my new limitations. Ms. Versical and the staff wete consistently pleasant, professional and productive. My calls were ALWAYS returned. Ms. Versical submitted my initial application in February 2019 and I received my first SSD payment August 2019. Per the policy here, there was no charge to me as there was no back payments. I am deeply grateful for the work performed by Ms Versical on my case. Although unemployment has not reduced the progression of my condition(s) or disabilities, I now have security and ability to focus on what I can do and achieve. Best regards to Ms. Versical and Kwiatowski & Associates team.
My daughter was born with a learning disability. The process of special education and additional support was difficult to address, but we managed as our daughter made her way through the system. Once she turned 18 and an adult, a whole new set of needs became apparent. The most difficult was applying for SSI for her. We applied on our own, but we were turned down. Clearly we needed help and we truly found that with Bethany Versical. From the first day we met with her, we knew we were in great hands. She made us feel comfortable by explaining the process and what to expect in terms both me and my daughter could understand. Bethany took us through the whole process right up to the hearing to determine my daughters eligibility. She knew every aspect of my daughters condition and how this would impact the rest of her life. With her expertise, she was able to bring this to the judges attention and resulted in my daughter receiving benefits. Bethany has helped us with any questions and reviews that Social Security has requested of us. She has an exceptional knowledge when it comes to understanding the Social Security process and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for help in this regard.
I am a disabled veteran injured while on deployment. DOD/VA compensated me some due to my injury but since my rare condition was a “non-qualifying” condition, I was rated at 10% disabled. I reached out to Bethany after returning to my home state, after years of trying to maintain gainful employment and she was very professional and understanding about my strange, rare condition. Her and her assistant John fought for my Veterans Affairs increase even though neither benefited for taking this case. Ultimately I was awarded 100% disabled (deservingly), and received a “fully favorable “ decision from social security, which I didn’t even know was an option for my situation (after being denied for my initial claim without representation) until my consultation with Bethany made me aware of my entitlements. My wife and I greatly appreciate her dedication and hardwork to get me the compensation I deserve, even with a rare and random disability... and my 7 year old son, who will have a nice little nest egg when he turns 18, will greatly appreciate Bethany’s services to where he has a free college education, that Bethany service got him awarded through the VA, and a nice cash buffer in the bank. Yes I would trade all of that to live a normal pain free life, but knowing that my loved ones will be taken care of despite my disabilities is a huge relief. Thanks you Bethany, John, and Diane Kwitowski and assoc.
To say that Bethany helped our family greatly is an understatement. My husband was denied social security benefits before we met with her, and she handled our case from then on out, thankfully. Bethany is compassionate, kind, extremely professional and thorough on her research. She also asked us great questions to help our case. She changed our family's lives for the better. We were financially struggling before we received SSI benefits, and now we can breathe easier knowing that we can care for each other fully. We couldn't have done this without her help. We are forever grateful for her expertise.
We first hired Bethany from a family member's recommendation who had a good experience with her. We hired Bethany to help apply for my husband's social security. She explained the procedure clearly and made sure all our questions were answered. She then completed all the necessary paperwork and he was approved on the first try. Two years later we hired her again to handle my more complex case. I suffered long-term brain and nervous system effects from chemotherapy and radiation treatments and could no longer do the work my career called for. Because I had a desk job, it took much more to show that I qualified for benefits. In addition, we had a judge who had never heard of chemo brain and did not know the long term after effects of chemotherapy & radiation. Bethany went above and beyond in her research and her paperwork to show the judge that I did meet the qualifications and I was approved. Bethany truly cares about her clients and her work. Bethany has our highest recommendation. Mr. & Mrs. B
Right when I thought my future was over, felt powerless, irresponsible and careless over what I thought wouId be the rest of my life. Then I met Bethany, my past is what didn't matter to her. She looked past my mistakes and flaws. Bethany saw everything that could change my life and believed that all I needed was to "Never stop giving up". And throughout our case I started believing her because Bethany never gave up. The experience that I had with the Bethany and her colleagues was amazing. She assisted me to get to where I am today. Bethany did for me what I couldn't do for myself. Thank You, you have achieved and proven that the world isn't really that bad. That possibilities are endless. Tom
I work in the mental health field. I've referred many of the individuals I work with to Ms. Bethany Versical because she seems to always get positive results. I believe that she gets the results she gets because she spends valued time with each individual she works with long before the last minutes before the hearing. She also has the talent of getting background information from individuals that really matters in the court room. Ms. Versical gets 5 stars from me.
Bethany Versical took time out in order to interview and prepared me for my hearing months before we were to meet for the actual hearing. Other attorneys just met briefly with me the same day of the actual hearing and we lost. Ms. Versical was very kind and supportive. She made me feel really comfortable. Ms. Versical prepared a professional brief to dispute my denied claim and I credit her for winning my claim. I recommend Ms. Versical all the time to people who are disabled. She really cares about her clients.
