I would absolutely recommend Beth Hondros and James, McElroy & Diehl to friends and family. Right from the beginning, Beth was very calm, knowledgeable and straight forward – which was much needed and appreciated. My situation felt critical and I felt emotionally fragile during that first meeting. But, Beth walked me through each step of the process and frequently checked in with me along the way. I was comforted knowing that she was a mom herself and I felt confident she would do all she could to help protect my children. James, McElroy & Diehl is a well-oiled machine. It is helpful to have so many qualified persons on staff to help with each case. Everyone is organized, polite and helpful. Beth, along with my other lawyer, Lauren Leader, and their team, worked tirelessly on my case in preparation for my custody trial and it showed. They were well prepared in court and extremely thorough. My case was attacked from many angles and they left no stone unturned. Beth’s knowledge, experience and confidence is a source of calm in the whirlwind of emotions involved in divorce. She is tactful, straightforward and reasonable. She is willing to hear my thoughts and opinions and incorporates them into the case when possible. Beth has remained consistent and encouraging throughout this process. Her tireless preparation paid off and the closing argument was incredibly powerful and had lasting impact. She truly cares for me, my children and the outcome of my case.
I hired Beth after my divorce and custody had already been set. She was a life saver when I realized that my original agreement was not adequate and my children had been short changed from lack of detail. Beth and her associates worked tireless for me to get together the accurate and important information that won my case. I only regret no having used this firm from the start.
I hired Beth to handle my custody and child support case in the Fall of 2010. My case was heavily litigated for approximately 18 months, and there have been subsequent contempt and modification actions. Beth and her team are incredibly prepared and knowledgeable. Throughout the last 3+ years, several attorneys have appeared on the other side and none of them could match her fierce advocacy, knowledge of the law, and attention to detail. In addition, she has been a tremendous source of support, and has helped me through one of the darkest and most difficult times in my life. She cares for me and she cares for what is best for my child, and that is abundantly clear every time she steps in the courtroom or sends a letter on my behalf. Had I hired any other attorney, I would be in a far different place. She is an incredible family law attorney, and I highly recommend her.
Beth Hondros is an exceptional attorney that drives results. She is extremely knowledgeable and has a realistic approach to every situation. Her communication is excellent and therefore as the client you know where you stand at all times. I have recommended her to friends and family and will continue to do so.
Ms. Hondros is a most excellent attorney. She and her associates actively and compassionately truly listened to our deeply complex case- (which was a major feat in itself). There were many nights she was up in the early hours emailing with questions on pieces of information she had uncovered. Ms. Hondros and her team were the most responsive of any attorney we have ever worked with in any capacity- she actually returned our calls! During trial, Ms. Hondros was fully prepared----fully prepared- I can't emphasize that enough. She and her team were never lost down any of the twisted tributaries into the abyss that often occur in court. Not once was she thrown off by a witness or the other attorney- not once. She knew our case inside and out and from every direction, it was an honor to be seated next to her and watch her work. She was dogged when required and very gracious when required-- and as I have learned, both attributes are very important
