Mr Faigenbaum has represented me for he past 20 years in the areas of family law, real estate, and estate planning. He is kind, caring, honest and brilliant.
About twelve years ago I was looking to diversify my investments into rental properties. In fact, I had found the exact building in Philly that I wished to purchase into. But being a novice in real estate investing, I chose to work with Mr. Faigenbaum. I was very pleased with the purchase then and the subsequent sale in the last two years. Bernie is very knowledgable and unemotional about real estate. He helped me decide on a two bedroom/two bath layout. He also strongly encouraged me not to overimprove the condo. His reasoning was that high-end renters wanted space mostly, but since they each have their own taste in furnishings, don't over improve. Buying is easy. But when it came to selling that same condo, it was his insight and wise counsel that helped me find the right buyer. He patiently dealt with three or four offers, and when each fell through for different reasons, he carefully negotiated with the buyer's realtor to get both of us a fair price. I would highly recommend Mr. Faigenbaum.
Let me make your real estate agent search easy: PICK BERNIE. My wife and I were first time homebuyers in Philly and reached out to Bernie. He immediately responded to our email with a phone call to discuss exactly what we were looking for (we had an idea, or at least thought we did at that point). He then regularly sent us listings and quickly responded to all of our emails. We searched for a home for a little over a year, and our price point changed a little during that time, which could understandably be annoying to some agents. Bernie, though, was never pushy and we never felt pressured. He would actually point out negative things about properties that we liked that never even crossed our minds so that we were very informed buyers. He truly wanted us to find the best house possible for our needs. When we finally did find a house, we put an offer in and there was a bidding war, which was stressful. But, Bernie held our hands through the entire process and made it easy. In the end, we ended up getting the house for a lower purchase price than the other potential buyer offered, because Bernie was able to convince the sellers that we were a better choice for the home based on our financials. Additionally, because he’s an attorney, he was able to answer all of our questions regarding the numerous contracts required to buy a home, so we didn’t feel like we were just randomly signing papers. He was clearly more knowledgeable than most of the agents that worked for the sellers that we interacted with, who would submit to use documents that were riddled with errors. All in all, we could not be happier with Bernie and the house that he helped us find. We will be strongly recommending him to all of our friends and family for their future real estate needs.
When we were getting ready to sell our house, we considered selling it ourselves without a real estate broker/agent. However, we were lucky when a neighbor recommended Bernie Faigenbaum, who had successfully helped them sell their home. Bernie was a terrific resource, advising us on what we needed to do to ready the house for the market, what would help the house look its best, how to set the price, and many other “pre-sale” issues. We showed the property ourselves, but Bernie was readily available to answer questions, conduct and guide us in negotiations and paperwork, and serve as our attorney. He was always kind, knowledgeable, and responsive (even when he was away from Philadelphia). Bernie is highly professional: intelligent, thoughtful, ethical, perfectly prepared, and communicative. Our house sold and settled quickly and he made the whole experience easy, calm, and successful. We give Bernie our highest recommendation and would definitely recommend him to our friends and hire him again!
We hired Bernard to draft up an agreement of sale and tend to our house closing. He did an excellent job and was incredibly responsive and quick to deliver all the necessary documents. I would definitely hire him in the future.
With going through my divorce Bernie was a huge help with explaining the paper work and the steps I'd be going through . My divorce didn't take as long as some can drag on and he helped my voice be heard when I felt like the other wasn't listening to my needs and wants . He is someone that I would hire again and I recommend .
Bernard Faigenbaum provided me with excellent counsel, steering me clear of danger time, and again until I was able to sell my home to the right buyer. And best of all he's all heart.
Bernie has been handling my father's estate, and had drafted both of my parents' wills. He is compassionate and focused, efficient with the process of probate as well as with his (billable) time. A wonderful attorney to guide through a process that is never enjoyable.
Bernie has handled my divorce and custody matters for many years and has always been very professional and helpful. He is right on top of all the issues with clarity and focus. Bernie is smart, experienced, very informed of the laws and procedures, and has an excellent memory to remember all the facts and details of specific cases and actions. Bernie always made good recommendations and acted in my best interest.
I was getting nowhere with my attorney of many, many years...and made the very difficult decision to make a change. Hiring Bernie Faigenbaum was the best decision in this area that I have ever made! I have found him to be knowledgeable, responsive and more than cooperative and communicative. Mr. Faigenbaum is always available to answer any questions that I might have ( regardless of how mundane they might be), and makes sure that I understand the answer! He is professional when representing me in court, and always is prepared to the extreme!! Again, I could not be happier with my representation.
