About
I've been an attorney since 1997. I've served the State of Maine as an Assistant District Attorney prosecuting criminal matters and as an Assistant Attorney General prosecuting child abuse and neglect cases. In 2005 I formed my own law firm and engaged in general practice, focusing primarily on defending indigent clients. My practice is now limited to civil matters, as I serve the State as a Bail Commissioner in addition to being an attorney. I hold a Master of Divinity (with honors) from Andover Newton Theological School and my undergraduate degree in Child Development was earned with distinction. My hobbies include gardening and canine rescue.

Attorney Broder was compassionate and professional. My daughter, who has some fairly significant intellectual and emotional disabilities, was in need of legal representation. Mr Broder immediately sensed exactly what her needs were and put her so at ease, that she was able to open up and talk about very sensitive issues (that even I could not get her to talk about). He was very available, responding to all inquiries very quickly. Our case was handled, by Attorney Broder, professionally and yet, so personally. While with us, he was our good friend...but in the courtroom, he was our absolute protector. His compassion and understanding of my daughter and her needs, along with his total understanding of the law, resulted in a positive outcome. I would not hesitate to consult/hire Mr. Broder for any future legal needs.
Great work with a personal injury accident in which my daughter was involved. He went to bat for us,over and over when our own insurance company was unresponsive. I would trust this guy with anything. Honest, hard working, tons of integrity and he really knows his law.
