I am an associate attorney at Downtown Denver Office of The Harris Law Firm.  I specialize in the areas of divorce, child custody, post-decree modifications, emergency motions and restraining orders.  I have a background in criminal law as well, have helped clients through domestic violence issues, and am well versed on their potential impact on family law proceedings. Clients who are dealing with family legal matters want an attorney who listens and understands them in their unique situation, identifies their needs and goals, and advises them of their options. They need someone they can know will act in their best interest and strongly advocate for their position.  I bring these qualities to every client I represent.I was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska and went on to earn my undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska, majoring in Economics. Upon graduation, I spent time in the world of banking and finance. It was my drive to help others led me to law school, graduating from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.  Prior to joining The Harris Law Firm, I spent time with several smaller firms across Colorado, focusing on domestic relations, criminal defense, and litigation.At The Harris Family Law Firm, I pride myself as an attorney that builds client relationships based upon trust, respect, and setting expectations. From this foundation, each client knows that I will effectively negotiate and, if necessary, zealously litigate their position.  For attorneys on the other side of case, I will "call it as I see it" whenever possible and respect the same in return.Outside of the office, I enjoy skiing, fly fishing, and spending time with my wife and dog.
