On 6/25/2015, In the above mentioned case, I was set to appear before the Court of Common Pleas in and for New Castle County, DE where Mr. Gifford was asked to represent me for my original Defense Attorney. Needless to say, the case was ultimately dismissed by the Department of Justice. On this same day, Mr. Gifford self appointed himself as my Attorney for a pending Violation of Probation charge out of the same court. After consulting with the Court, an agreement was reached and I was ordered to be released from the custody of the Department of Correction effective immediately. Well twenty-five days had passed and I was not released from custody. After placing a desperate phone call to Mr. Gifford's office, Mr. Gifford was informed that I had been told that I had been sentenced to one year in custody after a miscommunication between the Court and the DOC's Records Department. Mr. Gifford sprang into action in order to see to my immediate release from custody, and ultimately on the forty-sixth day, I was just out of nowhere released from the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution (HRYCI). I would like to give big thanks to Mr. Gifford and his Paralegal, Susan, for their tireless efforts in order to ensure my immediate release....... Thanks guys.......
