Behrouz K. Rahmati is a native of Tehran, Iran, and has lived in Huntsville, Alabama, for thirty years. Following graduation from Jones School of Law, Behrouz started his firm in Huntsville, and has been engaged in the practice of law for sixteen years. Behrouz has represented clients in civil matters in the District and County Court of Denver, Colorado, the Northern District of California at San Jose, and the Immigration Appeal Court in Detroit, Michigan. In 1994, Behrouz assisted in the creation of the first Public Defender Program for the City of Huntsville, and has served on the Executive Board for the Madison County Bar Association. Behrouz has also served on the Board of Counsel to International Visitors in Madison County, and the Membership Committee of the Madison County Bar Association. Behrouz focuses in the practice of Real Estate Law, Corporate Litigation, and jury and non-jury trials involving collections and various other civil cases. Behrouz is a member of the American Bar Association, the Alabama Bar Association, and the Madison County Bar Association. Behrouz is also admitted to practice before the following Courts: Supreme Court of Alabama 1993; United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama 1993; United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama 1993; United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit 1994; and, United States Supreme Court 2004.
