After the tragic death of my brother, I discovered that I was a trustee for his estate. As you might imagine, the aftermath of such a tragedy is fraught with emotion, confusion, and yet all the while, the burden to settle his affairs is urgent. I had absolutely no clue what I had to do other than to hire a good probate lawyer to help me. I found Barrett's name on the Internet, but didn't even know what to ask him to determine if I wanted to work with him. I found a list of about ten questions to ask a potential probate lawyer on an interview. I hesitantly called, Barrett himself answered, and immediately I felt comfortable with his knowledge, experience, compassion, and approachability. I barely made it through a handful of my questions and just knew he was right.
