Barbara Griffin obtained her B.S. in Criminal Justcie with a minor in Psychology from the University of Central Florida in 2008. She obtained her law degree from The University of Akron School of Law in 2012. She was admitted to the Ohio Bar and has been practicing law since 2012. Mrs. Griffin is a first generation Cuban-American originally from Miami, Florida and fluent in Spanish.Mrs. Griffin has practiced immigration law in Columbus, Ohio and Virginia Beach, Virginia where she represented clients before the Executive Office of Immigration Review and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Attorney Griffin focused on removal defense and family based immigration cases. She also has experience in criminal defense and juvenile law. At Williams, Kratcoski & Can, LLC, Mrs. Griffin practices civil litigation, estate planning, custody, and immigration. As an Alumnus of The Univeristy of Akron School of Law, Mrs. Griffin was president of the Asian-Latino Law Student Association and vice president of the Akron Criminal Justice Society.
