About
In over 15 years practicing law, I've represented all varieties of clients in every variety of case. From defending large talent agencies against multi-million-dollar class action age discrimination in employment cases to representing mental health patients in commitment hearings, I've learned that nothing impacts a person more than their family. That is why I am so honored to be able to dedicate my practice to helping people deal with family law issues. My brother Todd and I started Scardina Law, LLC because we wanted families to have a resource that didn't measure success by the amount of money earned but by the outcomes achieved. A firm that would zealously advocate for its clients with empathy and compassion for the entire family unit. A family business dedicated to helping families navigate through difficult times with dignity. I strive every day to help all my clients see that they are stronger than everything they were taught to fear. Nothing makes me happier than watching my clients grow as they face their challenges and regain control of their lives.

I sat down with Autumn and Sean after my ex would not allow me to see my daughter when I returned home from active service in the Marine Corps. Scardina Family Law was not the first law firm I sat down with to discuss my case but they were easily the ones I felt most comfortable with. Both Autumn and Sean were personable and easy to like. When I had my initial conference with them, they made me feel like my case was the only thing important to them at the moment. What I appreciated the most was their honesty. They told me immediately they could not guarantee the result of my case but advised they were confident we could get it resolved. They did not pressure me to choose them to represent my case by offering me several options. They told me if I represented myself I would likely obtain the same result. However, they offered either full representation or we could work together as a team with them guiding me on the process and paperwork. Ultimately due to entering the police academy, I opted for full representation. During the course of the nine month legal process, I never once regretted having Scardina Law represent me. Autumn's competency and proficiency in family law was bested only by her ability to empathize with my case and my family. She offered expert advice from a legal standpoint as well as advice on how to repair the fractured relationship with my ex in order to allow for a long term solution, not just winning the custody case. Autumn was frank with me when I vented about issues, telling me the sometimes unwanted truth to my situation. Autumn expertly balanced empathizing with me and giving me perspective on the legal process of my case. The thing that set Autumn apart from any other lawyer I have dealt with was her passion and sole interest in obtaining the best thing for my daughter. Autumn does not want me as a repeat customer and ensured my family was set up for success from a legal and personal standpoint for the rest of my daughter's life. Autumn's calm yet tenacious professionalism exemplifies the ethical, personable, and intellect I expect from all lawyers regardless of practice. I hope I never need to have Autumn represent me again, but if I do, I will not hesitate to use her in the future.
I have had Autumn for two cases over the last 3 years. How many people can say that they love their attorney? Autumn was always personable, responsive, and willing to strategist with me. She was passionate and compassionate. I always felt better after discussing with her during the ugly, exhausting battle. I never once felt that Autumn's behaviors were driven by greed. She bills honestly and fairly, unlike some attorney which I had in the past that billed unreasonably, including double billing. She advised me to think about cost effectiveness and at times offered me information of less costly resources and options. She and Todd are a good team, and Todd helped tremendously in my case too. I felt that I had a true advocate with Autumn and Todd. Although my child support modification case turned out worse than I anticipated, the outcome was within the range of Autumn's early estimate of worse case scenario. The case did not come to a satisfying result mostly due to my ex' malignantly narcissistic games, his lawyer's unethical and sociopaths conducts, and the magistrate's obvious prejudice. I am not sure how many normal, decent people in the world are prepared to deal with evil, so I do not hold Autumn accountable for that. She worked hard and fiercely against my ex's and his lawyer's countless lies and the magistrate's unfair treatment. As an ethical person, she was as drained as I was by the unbelievable opponents. There is only so much you can do with a biased court. I trust that she has been well trained to deal with the evil kind now after my unusual case. I had a few attorneys before Autumn, and she is by far the only one that I respect and trust as an attorney and as a good person. I highly recommend her.
Both Todd and Autumn Scardina are terrific to work with. They were "on it" from the word go and helped me resolve my legal issue very quickly. I would recommend them highly!
Last year I separated from my husband. I called/interviewed 6 attorneys. Autumn was so kind and took time to explain the divorce process to me in depth. A year later, I decided to go forward with the process and hired her. She is kind, compassionate, very savvy, not intimidating (like other attorneys), fair, professional and brilliant at what she does. I highly recommend her!
Autumn and Todd helped me with a child support modification this fall. They took the time and clearly outlined the process and possible outcomes for the case. We ended up getting a very favorable result without having to go to court. This is a very experienced and knowledgeable law firm. I would highly recommend their services.
Autumn Scardins and her brother Todd were wonderful. I learned alot of Vidal information about family law and how it was best to resolve certain situations regarding my case. She explained everything in great detail, she was understanding and listened to me. Very kind on payments that were late or were behind when I told her about them. I would definelty recommend her .
I consulted with Ms. Scardina about a possibly complicated case involving international issues. She was prompt to respond to my request. She seemed very familiar with international interactions. During the consultation, she was patient to listen to my complicated long story, and she gave me concise feedback. She was quick to focus on my goals, the possible outcomes, and my options. Instead of securing business, she was very honest to tell me lower cost resources in case I needed them in the future. When I talked with her, I felt that her focus was on what I wanted, not her personal agenda. I am very impressed with her. I had had an attorney/firm that sucked me dry and did not have my best in heart. Ms. Scardina was a refreshing contrast, and I feel that I can trust her. I have not hired her because I have not decided what I want to do with my case, but she is certainly on my go-to list.
