About
I'm a born-and-bred Hoosier who became a Vol for Life in 2018 upon moving to Knoxville for law school. In 2014, I graduated from Milan High School, the school for the basis of the great sports movie "Hoosiers". From there, I attended Indiana University Bloomington and earned my B.A. in Pyschology and minor in Spanish. While in college, I volunteered as a volunteer mediator with the Community Justice and Mediation Center in Bloomington, Indiana. I worked mostly with their S.T.E.P. program (Shoplifting and Theft Education Prevention) heping individuals complete their diversion requirements. In early 2018 I made the decision to attend law school at the University of Tennessee College of Law later that fall. Throughout law school, I embraced an open mind concerning my primary practice area. Upon graduation I realized that my primary purpose for becoming a lawyer was to help people solve their legal problems. I decided that opening my own practice was the best way for me to develop the robust law practice I would need to provide exceptional representation to my clients and satisfy all of their legal needs.During law school I participated in two transactional clinics as a student attorney and maintained a transactional and business-oriented course load while working as a law clerk for a local criminal defense attorney. Through my clinical work I provided guidance on entity formation, revised corporate bylaws, and filed trademarks. During my work as a law clerk, I wrote two appellate briefs to the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals, a Rule 11 application to the Tennessee Supreme Court, and various motions for state and federal court.
