This little man has a huge ego. I thought he was just a stuffed suit never offering anything substantial. My experience was he fancied himself as this as a tough and shrewd advocate for his clients, that is, until you sign on the dotted line. Then everything changes. I was his client, but I wasn't paying him. Nevertheless his fiduciary duty should have been to me. He just gravitated to where the money was and just milked it. He made filings and legal representations without my permission or my blessing. He called pointless meetings without anything to say often showing up without a pen or pencil. Nothing written down so he wouldn't have anything to follow up on. I never remember him showing interest in the specifics of the incident that led to the lawsuit after I was his client, eventhough I kept trying to offer it. I was dismissed from the case by the judge for good reason, but not because of anything he did. It was obvious to me he was disappointed that the gravy train was ending. Further, he always has to "work" with another one of his lawyers. It always seemed to me to be just an excuse to double the billable hours for his firm. For me it was John. Nothing good to say about him either.
