Mr. Kaplan spent time getting to know me and my case. I was very weary to hire him after reading the reviews on this site but I know now it was just a few bad apples. My case was recently dismissed after Mr. Kaplan was able to stay the sale of my property which gave me time to work with the bank. Cannot recommend him enough!

In my first meeting with Attorney Arnold Kaplan he was thorough in his explanations of my case. He answered my many questions. I consider Mr. Kaplan good and competent counsel. Ann

How does this man sleep at night knowing he steals other people's hard earned money and claim it's a retainer fee? Arnold is a THIEF and should have his law license revoked. Stay away from this worthless human being

We hired Mr Kaplan after we were served with foreclosure papers. He secured a retainer of $1500 up front. We gave him a box of papers and asked us to do a detailed list of events /phone calls with our horrible mortgage company over the past year. We did. Mr. Kaplan, after we paid, informed us that there was nothing to really do at that point, that it would just speed up the foreclosure process. He did not even look at the information we provided. He had said he would be available if I had any questions, but did not return phone calls or appear to review my information. He did call after a long delay, and apologized and offered to do my closing for free. (as we had decided to sell our house). He offered to continue to represent me for $500/month. We decided to go a different route and have been very pleased. Our current attorney has been working with the mortgage company through the whole process and has helped alleviate a lot of the stress during this process. All I can say is that it is not right to exploit people who are at a very low time in their life. If you have too much business to do them justice, you should not promise that you can in order to obtain a retainer.
