After my wife and I met with several attorneys we knew after a few minutes of talking to Mr. Montalvo, he was the right attorney for our Foreclosure case. He made us feel at ease and showed a personal human touch regarding our situation. Through out the whole process Mr. Montalvo and his staff kept us notified of what was going on and kept us abreast of any changes to come which really helped set our minds at ease. With the many ups and downs we had through out the process with our case, Mr. Montalvo demonstrated his knowledge and expertise of his work by handling all of those bumps professionally and effeciently. Mr. Montalvo was very cost conscious, he detailed every cost and made sure there were no hidden fees. Mr. Montalvo demonstrated to me through out our whole process his integrity and honesty, his business ethics are second to none. Mr. Montalvo has my up most respect and trust and I would recommend him to anyone that asks.

Armondo Montalvo assisted my wife and I in settling my second mortgage with the bank. Without his knowledge I would never have been to come to terms with the bank. Thank you for help!!

Owned two properties: Investment property in foreclosure a couple of years and eventually Mr. Montalvo negotiated a release and waiver of deficiency. Primary Home: Defended the foreclosure tried to obtain a modification was denied 4 times ended up going to trial lost the trial. Entered a Chapter 13 Plan under the new loan modification programs was able to obtain a loan modification with forgiveness of principal and eventually got out of Bankruptcy as we accomplished our main mission of obtaining a modification. After being in foreclosure for about 3 years and a few loan modification denials. Mr. Montalvo requested that I file Chater 13 Bankruptcy and try the new loan modification program being offered in Bankruptcy Court. It was a success, I was able to obtain a favorable modification.I I also had a second mortgage and Bingo it was forgiven, later I dismissed my Bankruptcy case as I accomplished all my goals. Excellent results, I never thought I was going to resolve any of these problems but he always gave me hope. Thank you

If I could erect a statue of Armando Montalvo in front of my new house I would do it. Without his help I would have lost my house to the bank. Thank you Armando and your very knowledgeable office staff.

When I sat down with Miriam (Montalvo’s secretary), I was informed on all the type of debt I was allowed to place in the bankruptcy. She also explained to me that Government student loans could not be place under bankruptcy but I could place private student loans into my bankruptcy because it comes from a private bank and has no affiliation with the government. She wanted to confirm what she had told me so she walked to montalvo’s room and she came back confirming that what she had said was correct. I understood about the government loans that it could not be placed in bankruptcy and I accepted it as fact and never mentioned it again. However I was lead to believe that private student loans could be placed into bankruptcy. I went to court (not with montalvo or Mariam but some legal aid that I have never met in my life nor knew of my situation only ready what was written on paper) on December of 2012, I went and sat in front of a judge and told me everything was forgiving and if no one protested in 90 days then all the debts (including the private student loans) are forgiving. Now seven months later after the bankruptcy, on July 2013 I get a call from chase student loans stating that I owe them such and such amount for my student loans. I called chase to speak to a customer service agent and she informed me that the account didn’t go through and that I had to pay immediately. I was also sent a letter for the offices of todd, bremer & Lawson, inc. stating that I awe a school I went to six hundred dollar for a out of school fee. I emailed Miriam telling her what’s happening and when she responded all she can tell me was that montalvo always said that state and private loans can’t be but in bankruptcy end of email. I was so pissed off by that because I and Miriam SAT DOWN TOGETHER and wrote all the debts down which included the private loans and montalvo (who I only saw for 20 mins of the 6 months I was going to the office) checked and approved it. They even told me both in my face after the bankruptcy that the federal loans can’t be put in bankruptcy but not to worry that the private loans can. I am so pissed that I don’t even know what to insult them with. I contacted them other lawyers about the matter and they had told me they had very little experience with bankruptcy in general and that I should have gone with them. Can you please mail or call me back or something to inform me what I can do about this matter because those debt collectors are calling nonstop now. Sincerely, Elias
