Have hired Mrs. Newman for multiple cases. Very professional and personal. She takes time to understand your needs and works with you through each step of the process. Her and her team do a thorough job and are attentive when you need to ask a question or get additional advice. I would certainly recommend her again and again!
I have proudly had Marcy and her team represent me for all family law matters for well over the past 16 years. Marcy is professional, aggressive in the court room, and aggressive but realistic outside of. Any judge they stood before seemingly had a strong desire to work with Marcy and her associates. Family law and issues get very emotional, Marcy cuts thru with a no nonsense approach to deliver realistic and fair results. I am a super prod Dad and proud of Marcy for her work and as a person. My highest recommendation always.
Very professional and went above my expectations A vast network and the staff is very friendly and helpful
Marcy helped me develop and finalize a post-nup. She was extremely helpful, professional, and knowledgeable—as well as being personable and fun. If I have any family-related law needs in the future in the future, I will choose Marcy in a heartbeat, without hesitation.
I was referred to Marcy by my tax attorney. Marcy gave me a lot of attention even though I was not a client with whom she would be seeing a large financial reward. She was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable and made a stressful time (divorce) conclude in the time I needed and with a satisfactory resolution. I recommend her highly!
Marcy was so knowledgeable, thorough and meticulous. My divorce and child support was a smooth and timely process, which could have much worse in less competent hands. You pay for her expertise and effectiveness, and it was worth what I saved myself in time and emotional distress.
Marcy was very attentive and and did a great job for me. I was divorced in May, 2012 after my husband left me for his girlfriend. I was mentally unfit and Marcy made the appropriate decisions on my behalf. I don't know what I would do without her.
I just ended a difficult, long-running divorce case, and I wholeheartedly recommend my attorney, Marcy Newman. She and her colleagues at the law offices of A. Marcy Newman at 205 W. Randolph, handled my complicated divorce litigation with incredible diligence, patience and smarts. They responded promptly to my inquiries, and unfailingly provided excellent advice. I was exceptionally well represented from beginning to end. The results, while difficult to bear, would have been much worse if not for Marcy's expert handling of the case.
She told me she would not prepare for a deposition unless I paid her, when I wasn't neglectful with my bill. She pressured me to sign without seeing the final document (which she didn't tell me the other attorney prepared) more than 20 minutes; "the deal might be off the table if you don't sign." She failed to tell me I could change my mind within a month. She had her associate accompany her necessarily, for every meeting, even though I told her not to, in order to drive up her fees. She was NOT my advocate. I could go on and on--DON'T USE HER!
