Anne graduated from Grand Valley State University in 1997 and earned her law degree from Michigan State University – Detroit College of Law in 2001. Anne started her legal career defending workers’ compensation claims and litigating complex banking, real estate and insurance cases. For a number of years in between her years in private practice, Anne enjoyed her role as General Counsel for a fast-paced, international company. However, her passion for working with people and navigating through tough circumstances for individual clients brought her back to private practice. Anne resides in Holland with her husband, Scott, and their three children, Liam, Elise and Case. She enjoys spending time outdoors in all of Michigan's seasons, taking advantage of beautiful beaches and a variety of winter sports.
