About

F. John Caldwell, Jr., ("John") a native of the Philadelphia area, is a trial attorney with over 20 years of experience representing clients ranging from large companies, to the city government in Atlantic City, to small businesses and individuals. He obtained his undergraduate and law degrees from Rutgers University. He distinguished himself in law school as a member of the Rutgers Law Journal, publishing on the topic of private Superfund litigation, and was a research assistant for a renowned constitutional law professor and author. Since graduating from Rutgers Law School, John has practiced in a variety of litigation areas including medical malpractice defense, environmental law, contract, class action, civil rights, and patent infringement. In addition, he has participated in special counsel investigations into alleged wrongdoing at major utility companies in the New York and Philadelphia metropolitan areas. He was a key team member for Atlantic City in the development of former municipal lands into multi-billion dollar casino resorts. He has litigated and negotiated the settlement of dozens of complex civil cases.  John became a partner at Maglio Christopher & Toale, P.A., in 2009.
