We live in Kansas and a couple of years ago, we contacted Anne Jorgensen for her assistance in settling my father's estate in Colorado. Even though we worked with Anne long distance, she and her staff always responded to our communications and concerns in a very timely manner and kept in touch with us as our case progressed. Anne doesn't hesitate to push other parties involved to get things done. She did a great job for us.
I hired Anne Jorgensen from the firm of Jorgensen, Brownell & Pepin, P.C. for the purposes of an emergency and permanent guardianship hearing. Her office was always responsive and professional. You would not find a more professional office than this law firm. I would highly recommend Anne Jorgensen.
And gets down to the nitty-gritty as soon as possible. She doesn’t waste my time nor my money she asked for specific questions and will drill you until you give the specific answer. She is spot on and she knows what she’s doing.
An expensive lawyer like Anne Jorgensen is not necessarily better. Mostly only her assistants worked on my case which dragged out for 17 months in 2018 and 2019, and cost about $100,000, all my deceased parent’s life insurance. These huge fees went toward helping to maintain her firm’s 3 luxurious offices and to train 2 new assistant lawyers who wrote all the documents, perhaps more important than getting my case finished in the minimum time and expense. I had to settle for whatever my hostile relative felt like giving me, which was less than his previous offers and a fraction of the assets that should have gone to me--the part in question yielded only about 3 times what I paid her. She had predicted I could get much more, so I continued paying her fees, thinking the case was worth that much. I said that my relative would not give more unless forced by a court. Anne did not pay attention to this and many other things I said. After about a year, one assistant wrote a 35-page complaint that would require an 8-day trial, when before that the trial was going to be 2 days. I had no money left to pay for that trial. It did not seem like her priority was communicating with the opposing side to work out an agreement, or making a reasonable trial possible, or that she was much interested that I will be much less secure financially than my parents intended.
