In 2006, Anne returned to New York and joined the Children’s Law Center: a non-profit law firm that represents children in custody, visitation, neglect and domestic violence matters in New York City. During her time there, Anne handled both trials and appeals, giving her an invaluable breadth of knowledge and experience. In 2011, shortly after adopting her first son, Anne began practicing privately, of Counsel to the highly regarded international family law firm of Jeremy D. Morley. From the beginning, Anne’s practice has been dedicated exclusively to Family and Matrimonial Law, with a special interest in the international aspects of Family Law and international and interstate jurisdictional issues.

I shopped around for a divorce lawyer and visited about 10 lawyers. I am so glad I chose her. She represented me through my divorce always giving me the best advise that is realistic and possible. Super ethical and smart and logical because of her even though I was dealing with an impossible unreasonable ex my divorce finalized and I am on the other side. She is super responsible, very professional and practical.
I hired Anne back in June of 2017. I was in search of an attorney who could help me get guardianship of my grandson. I felt hopeless, because as grandparents, we really don't have much to stand on. I met with Anne, and brought in all my paper work that clearly proved that the child has always lived with me, and some other stuff to prove the neglect part on the maternal side. Anne was very clear, did not fill me with false hope. Anne was everything and more then I expected, from the contract signing, which was negotiated as much as possible in my favor and explained to me in great detail, to the closing table I knew I was in good hands. Yesterday, I was granted legal guardianship, of my grandson, and clearly I couldn't have done it without her.
Splitting from your spouse is a traumatic situation especially when a small child is involved. I found Anne through the recommendation of a divorce mediator and she became a personal savior under very difficult circumstances. Here's a few reasons why I value Anne's counsel: - She's an excellent listener. That is something that is so crucial when you are trying to have your needs met during an emotionally overwrought time. I told her my situation, gave her some criteria I needed met, and what my desired outcome was for the future and for my child. She was able to translate this into a couple of legal scenarios that I could follow. She left the decision up to me but provided me with great legal perspective. - She is well-informed. Her experience was helpful and comforting in helping me choose which direction to go in when it came to coming up with a temporary custody order and deciding how to proceed with a divorce filing. It's completely overwhelming to understand all the issues at hand when you're divorcing and she patiently answered all my questions not only once but multiple times if needed. - She's flexible. I hear a lot from fellow separated and divorce parents about the stress and financial strain of hiring a lawyer. Anne has been great about providing me with her counsel but being sensitive to my financial situation. She is great about recommended options where I can save money on the legal process. I really appreciate that sensitivity. At the end of the day, choosing an attorney is a personal decision - you want to gel with that person because they are so important to issues that are so personal. I found Anne to be someone I could relate to and trust immediately and that her compassion was aligned with the kind of divorce I wanted to get - one where relationships are preserved for the long-term and it's not an all out war to destroy each other.
Anne Glatz is one of a kind. I hired her after other attorneys were not successful in helping protect my child, from abuse and neglect in an interstate jurisdictional nightmare. She was able to organize an overwhelming volume of records, reports and data in a manner in which it was clear for authorities to see my child needed immediate protection. I’m thankful for her empathy when handling our case, and highly recommend her for even the most complex legal situations.
Anne Glatz was my attorney for a complex International Relocation case which initially involved my child's return to New York under the Hague Convention. She is professional, knowledgeable, dedicated, compassionate, and has the utmost integrity and drive for a result that is right and fair. I never doubted her ability to give me the best legal representation and trusted her completely to give me honest advice based on her knowledge and experience. I would recommend her to anyone needing an expert in the area of Family Law and International Law.
