Anna “Anya” East Corcoran is a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, but has called Knoxville home for the majority of the last seventeen years. She is married to James E. Corcoran, III, also an attorney. Anya and James associate on cases when beneficial for the client.She obtained her law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2008.  She practiced with a small Knoxville civil litigation firm prior to going in-house as a legal department of one at a public oil and natural gas company in 2010. In 2015, she was invited to teach a short course at the University of Tennessee College of Law as an adjunct professor.  Later that year, she went into private practice, focusing on business matters and ad hoc counsel work.Mrs. Corcoran also holds a Master of Arts in Politics from New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Tennessee.
