For many years, I worked in the area of finance and computers (for small companies and non-profit organizations) while I worked towards obtaining my BS degree in Criminal Justice, with my ultimate goal to attend law school. In 2000 I started attending law school full time, attending classes at night and on weekends, all the while continuing to work full time to support my family. I graduated in 2003 and was admitted to practice law in Massachusetts in 2003. I was admitted to practice law in New Hampshire in 2004 and later that same year in Connecticut and Maine. Although I don't practice in Maine and Connecticut today, I continue to keep licenses active. I was a Guardian ad Litem appointed by the NH Courts in more than 150 cases involving parental rights and responsibilities, guardianships, termination of parental rights and relocation. Today, my practice includes a variety of areas of practice but is primarily focused on family issues, including divorce, parental rights and responsibilities, domestic violence issues, termination of parental rights, step-parent adoptions, wills, guardianships, deeds, prenuptial agreements, real property partitions, and other issues related to families.I work closely with my clients to provide them with the best representation possible and to guide them through what is often a highly emotional process by providing reasonable expectations and guidance so that my clients can make informed decisions for not only their best interests, but also the best interest of their children and other family members.

Meeting with Ann has been a breath of fresh air! Absolutely trust worthy! I am more then pleased to have met her ! Very honest and I would call on her for any advice I may need in the future! Ann did a wonderful job with my divorce/custody case. My daughter was a year old at the time and we were able to settle with my ex and his lawyer before the final hearing. Ann was very professional and did a wonderful job providing me with all the information I needed to make it as smooth as possible. She also helped after my case in providing me with information on how to cope with certain disagreements with my ex. Not that I plan on ever getting divorced again, but if I did, I would choose Ann Bennett as my lawyer.
Ann Thompson Bennett is the best lawyer I have ever used out of the 3 which I have experienced. She was so thorough she should be a detective. She was at all times professional, yet calming to a very nervous client in the court room. But most importantly a very kind person and put the children's needs first. She has my highest respect and we consider her family by the time we were finished.
She took a vow and does not follow it, She was appointed in our case allowed the other party to pay in full refused to talk to us for months and months and months and gave sole custody to the party that paid her and the other party has never seen the children since she fully supported taking one parent completely out of their lives when her Vow is to keep both parents in their lives!! She does not follow the law she’s sneaky and a very terrible person
