They did all the work for me and helped me get out of debt. I referred my cousin here too!
I had to file bankruptcy in a hurry because i had a Sheriff's sale on my house scheduled. I was able to get filed in a hurry. The office ran my credit reports and helped me do the paperwork. All in all, very pleased.
I have had to file bankruptcy twice. Each time I have used Anita's office. She is very helpful. Before filing, I met with another attorney in town- he wasn';t very helpful or nice. I had to file the first bankruptcy for credit card debt and the second one I am repaying medical debt. I am very happy with her services and she has great staff.
First, I filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Her staff helped me fill out the paperwrok, pulled my credit reports. Then, when my car quit during the bnkruptcy, she helped me find financing on a 2015 Ford. I am very pleased.
Terrible to her employees, she is a monster!!! She Hates men and is very sexist and unprofessional. Fires people over the phone and cusses them out. Just because she seen them have pending applications elsewhere! Would not recommend if you are seeking employment with her.
No Compassion & Out For Your Money. After my initial meeting, I dropped of the requested down-payment of $763 (but never signed the agreement to actually file). Soon after, I was informed that our household income was too high to even move forward and file. When I asked for my money back, since the lawyer clearly stated that I would not be able to file, they “nickel & dimed” me for every penny (or as they called it “ran some accounting on my file”). I received a note in the mail, a print-out of the supposed services performed, and $0 back. It was a LOSE-LOSE situation (for me, not them). Let’s Review: I submitted a down-payment, never signed the agreement, was told I could not file, but they still kept all of my money. When I dropped off payment, I was charged. When I stopped in to try and get my money back, I was charged. When the office text-messaged me, I was charged. When I had my final phone meeting and the lawyer stated that I would not be charged for the call, I was charged. I even reached out directly to the company owner regarding my situation and explaining that I felt like I was being treated unfairly. My plea for compassion and understanding fell on deaf ears once again. I am writing this review in hopes that I can help someone else steer clear of losing their hard-earned money.
I to as all of you leaving a good review felt the same way but wait a few years before you leave a review .because myself after eight years it is now that I realize Anita did not complete the job I paid her to do. so if you use Anita as your attorney please make sure you follow up on any reaffirmation that you do because it will be years later when you try to buy another home it is then that you realize she did not complete your reaffirmation on your home that you are living in at the time that you use her services. a reaffirmation at the time of using Anita I knew nothing about but now 8 years later I am well aware of how important it is to make sure it gets done if you want credit of all the mortgage payments you are making on your home for any future mortgage loan. so you will not have to go through the headache I am going through just make sure you follow up on any reaffirmation you are having done. because it is your future that it will affect. and once the time has passed nothing can be done to fix it
