I practice in the Intellectual Property Practice Group and work extensively with law enforcement on IP related crimes.  I am responsible for the day to day operation of the firm’s Internet Program and work with paralegals and researchers on issues ranging from online auctions to websites and emerging technologies. I counsel clients in developing and implementing enforcement strategies in a variety of settings.I am the National Law Enforcement Training Coordinator for the IACC.  I have held that position for over 15 years.  During that time I have worked closely with law enforcement at the federal, state and local levels to organize and carry out training related to the identification of counterfeit products and to the laws created to fight the problem.  Since 2001, I have been President of the IACC Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) corporation dedicated to providing educational programs and materials for law enforcement and the public. I created the IACC Foundation's well regarded training CD-ROM for law enforcement which is updated on an annual basis.  I am at work creating a Latin American training CD and accompanying training program.I have organized and conducted training sessions for CBP, ICE and the FBI in the United States.  I have also conducted training for law enforcement in almost all 50 states at all levels and for various departments.  I have spoken at IACC, INTA, ICAOCT and other conferences on enforcement related issues.  I am active with the US Embassy in Rome to establish an ongoing program of sharing best practices between judges and prosecutors to fight IP crimes. I have been a featured speaker at those annual sessions.
