One of the specific things I like about Ms. Valle is that she gets to the point. She helped my daughter with her social security appeal and it was a smooth painless process overall, which resulted in favorable results for my daughter. I read some reviews on here and I can understand that some do not appreciate honesty and see it as bluntness but I can assure you that Ms. Valle is factual and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend.
I gradually became disabled as a result of various long-term side effects of chemotherapy and radiation treatments for cancer, complicated by hearing loss, heart failure and obesity-related illnesses. My primary affliction is RARE - an atypical form of radiation-induced vertigo. I thought that since it had been difficult for both my doctors and for me to understand what had happened to me, that it would be equally difficult for the Social Security Administration not only to understand, but to adjudge me as disabled and eligible for benefits. I was so fortunate to happen upon Angelina Valle. She, and her entire staff, are remarkably efficient, understanding, and effective. As this review shows, I have a tendency to ramble and to give too much irrelevant information; the Valle team kept me focused, did not allow me to waste time, mine or theirs, simplified the process remarkably well. They also accommodated my difficulties with transportation, as I am unable to drive, and so I missed appointments and deadlines, but they kept the train on the tracks - the express track. My initial application for disability was turned down, as most are - but the total time elapsed between initial application and first rejection was less than five months. I was advised at that time that there was an approximately two-year-long backlog of appeals, and that I should not expect much to happen until mine was scheduled. In the meantime, I received excellent, to-the-point guidance on what supplemental medical information could be appended to the appeal. To my surprise, I did not have to wait for an appeal to be scheduled; based on Ms. Valle's presentation of the supplemental materials, and after brief phone interviews by two SSA personnel, my application was approved less than two months after the supplemental medical information was presented. From my initial application to final approval, it took just over fourteen months. Of that period, to be unflinchingly honest, I myself was likely responsible for at least seven or eight months; SSA almost all the rest. Including transportation time, I probably spent a total of less than 24 hours with Ms. Valle and her staff. I have no idea how much staff and lawyer's time was expended in aiding my application; all I can say is I hope my case was profitable for Ms. Valle and her team, because to me it was worth every penny of the modest fee. I would not hesitate to recommend her services to anyone else with Social Security-related issues; she is a maestra in her field. I am very grateful to Angelina Valle; her efforts have afforded me a degree of comfort and security that I thought impossible.
In the year of 2012, I hired Attorney Angelina Valle to represent my Social Security Disability case. My one and only meeting was with her husband who took down all my information about my case. I don't recall how Lon after I received a call from one of her representatives who would apparently help with my case. Out of th 3yrs. I may have heard from her office approximately 5 times for a question about medications. It was 21/2 years and still no updates on my case. I still had not meet or talked to Mrs.Valle. I would leave messages for the representative, no response. On October 21, 2014 I was schedule to meet with the judge. I called the office, asking when I would meet with Mrs. Valle. I was told they would let me know. I waited a week before my appeal I received a call, with instructions to call the attorney at 9:00am. I called as instructed to be told she was busy and would return my call waited about 30 min. She returned my call. She preceded to explain what to expect, how to dress ,what to say and not say. Asked to get there early to go over my case. Later that evening around 6pm she called informing me about some unfavorable comments made by one of my doctors. I asked why she was just seeing it now, had she taken more time to review my case we may have been able to address that before the hearing. Well of course I was stressed out all night. I got to the courthouse early, waiting for her to arrive. She arrived 5min before we were called in, she introduced herself,we went in. The SSDI physicians tore my claim apart. Mrs. Valle Sat there shuffling thru my file for the questions being asked by the judge. It doesn't take someone with a degree that she was not prepared to represent my case. Judge said a decision would be made in 45 days. I asked how she thought it went,Mrs. Valle commented You did good,we will just have to wait. The 45 days went by 4 months. I started calling her a office asking if they heard anything about my case. No response, I then started calling SS myself, the told me there wasn't anything showing it was being worked on. The said they would send email to the discussion office. I finally asked her husband who answers the phones ,I would like to leave a message. By that time I was upset that I never receive a courtesy call keep me up to date about my claim. She was very upset with my voice mail, her response was I am not going to pressure the judge to make a discussion you can if you like I will not. Later that afternoo afternoon I received call from Mrs.Valle that my claim has been denied, she was so insensitive about it. She showed no concern about the discussion. I did tell her that she was never interested in my case . She says "that's your opinion," you will get something in the mail in 3 days"find yourself another lawyer and hung up.
Very Rude Disrespectful and talks down to people. She called me "Whiny" when all I was doing was explaining my situation to her since Rosie did not explain and was leaving FALSE notes in the system that she tried to reach out to me. I had already moved on from the case and Rosie contacted me 9 days before the scheduled hearing demanding the papers - i explained that i did not want to move forward and she talked me to into it so i sent ALL forms she requested. just awful STAY away from this law office. VERY disappointed in the lack of professionalism here.
