I do not recommend this lawyer, she took an excruciatingly long time to do simple tasks. Even though I firmly had the law on my side she could not react in court appropriately - and the consequence was that the matter was never fully settled. Another wonderful thing is that she charged me for every single time I emails or called her. Some of these emails she sent me were one line long saying "Your court date is on ..." and that cost 0.2 hours. So $25 to tell me a judge was substituted, $25 to tell me a court date (what were the notices in the mail for then?). I am very displeased with her knowledge on civil matters, for instance I spent thousands of dollars on one matter, thinking certain things are going to come out of it, and then I find out months later that a statute she relied upon to write her documents and argue in court - was REPEALED 3 years prior... a terrible disservice. I plan on making a complaint to the OLR when all this stuff settles. She also failed to get firm answers from the judge and now my case is being appealed due to her lack of diligence on the matter! Nice, huh?
