Andrew was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. After a few years of riding his motorcycle across the country, he returned to California to enroll at UC Riverside. At UCR he started a program to tutor economics and worked with CalPIRG to create a textbook rental program. After graduating cum laude with a degree in Economics and Philosophy, Andrew pursued a law degree at Santa Clara University School of Law. In his first year he was a finalist in the Galloway Moot Court competition, in his second year he won Best Oral Advocate, and in his third year he represented his school at the Ruby Vale Corporate Moot Court Competition in Delaware, and volunteered at the Katherine and George Alexander Community Law Center in San Jose, advising clients in immigration matters. Since graduating from Santa Clara Law and passing the California Bar, Andrew has worked with some of the top Immigration lawyers in San Francisco and Los Angeles. He has represented hundreds of clients in immigration proceedings, green card and citizenship interviews, and bond hearings. He has filed hundreds of briefs, motions, and appeals with the Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has won cases for his clients in a variety of matters, including asylum, cancellation of removal (waiver), prosecutorial discretion, DACA (DREAMers), TPS, NACARA, and citizenship. Andrew has successfully represented clients in State Court on criminal matters, including drug charges, DUI, domestic violence, burglary, and others. Having married my wife a Mexican immigrant I wanted to get her legal status in the US. But he put my wife and I at ease. It felt as though it was personal. He made us feel like family. We decided to retain his services. He reached out to an organization that I am a part of at Chico State that focuses on undocumented students and offered to help us in any concerns that we had and even came to do a presentation so we could better understand immigration laws. He also volunteered by being a speaker for two conferences focused in educating the Chico community on undocumented students in higher education. Having married my wife a Mexican immigrant I wanted to get her legal status in the US. But he put my wife and I at ease. It felt as though it was personal. He made us feel like family. We decided to retain his services.
