About
My job is to provide clients with legal adviceof the pros and cons of a strategy they propose to follow in their business and to represent them in court when they need to sue or get sued. I have have represented large corporations, banks, cities, mayors, city council members, municipal redelopment agencies, foreign-government entities, small business owners, homeowners, and people in need of pro bono representation. The types of law are diverse becuase I believe the main skill I bring to the table is trying cases in the courtroom. Trial by jury is itself a filed of law although it is rarely called that. It is not until a lawyer has tried many cases that he or she develops through experience an intuitive appraoch to works and does not work in front of a particular jury. Lawyers who consider themselves experts--and might be that--in a particular are yet who have not tried many cases are ofetn at a serious disadvantage when against a seasoned trial lawyer, even one who knows less about the area--because all you need to win is to know your client's case well.
