I have worked with Andrew Sachs on multiple projects over a period of 5 years. First I hired him to advise me on navigating legal issues and forming business model around a healthcare startup which was initially envisioned as a brick and mortar model, but later morphed into an on-demand technology platform. A couple of years after, I reached out to Andrew to advise me on a franchise model in healthcare, negotiate and complete my deal. A two years later I contacted Andrew to advise me on a business asset sale transaction which involved a rather complicated lease negotiation with a blue chip global landlord based in midtown Manhattan. On every one of these transactions Andrew proved to be a hugely valuable advocate. He is well informed on all matters related to startups, technology-driven business models, small-business matters and real estate. He is upfront about aspects of the deal that are not his area of expertise but without fail he has proven that he can be fully trusted in gathering more than necessary information to advise constructively and close the deal. He is a great listener, cares about issues that he takes on, encourages balanced opinions and most importantly takes time to educate on issues involved. He is articulate, caring yet strong in his communication. Overall he is effective and makes business deals a joy to undertake. He is readily available. His fees are fair. He selects his involvements carefully but once he accepts the job, he invests in his clients and is an absolute professional.
Andrew was beyond helpful in addressing my needs. He took time to talk to me about what I needed, made great recommendations and quickly got the work done for me. I refer him to anybody I know that needs legal help with their business
I was referred to Andrew Sachs to help me draft a standard contract for my sole proprietorship business. Andrew rapidly wrapped his head around what I do, and what kinds of things I should have outlined in my contracts. He was willing to go through a few iterations to get it perfect, and provided some great suggestions for me to consider along the way. I came back to Andrew for a follow up case where I needed some consent and release forms that a client's attorney was asking for. Again, Andrew was great to work with, even when the client kept on changing their mind about what they wanted. Throughout, Andrew was very responsive to my questions and feedback, and I felt I was in excellent hands. It was a pleasure working with Andrew, and I have already recommended him to other small business owners I know. I will definitely use him again should the need arise.
Mr. Andrew Sachs is first class lawyer overall. As a startup, I went to him with a particular problem to be resolved and listening to the problem, it didn't take him more than a few minutes to come up with an alternative great solution. I met with two other lawyers before him and they were both offering standard solutions with high rates. Mr. Sachs proved to me several times that he is there for me when I need his expertise of law and startups. He is always on time, very responsive, he likes to use technology to make things smarter and quick and he has extensive knowledge regarding his field, technology and entrepreneurship needs and he is there to help you when you need.
Andrew has helped our LLC get off the ground with the necessary legal documents needed in forming a start-up as well as some unique issues specific to our business. He is quick, knowledgeable and attentive, always ready to answer our questions and work with our schedules. We hope to have a long, mutually beneficial relationship with him going forward!
My experience with Andrew was a pleasant one. He is always available, and responds quickly on the phone or email. Andrew is very detailed oriented and on top of all issues and situations for my business acquisition and closing. Professional all the way and I would do business with him. Thank you Andrew !
I hired Andrew for a trademark, and he met with me in person, has kept me informed along the way, and answered concerns and questions quickly. He's my go-to attorney for intellectual property and business formation.
My company's domain name was being held in the name of a designer we'd hired years ago. It was time to take control of it. The designer lived 1,000 miles away, and wasn't responding to our (nice) multiple voicemails and emails (which we'd been leaving for 6 months!). We hired Andrew to write a simple letter asking him to transfer the domain. He got the job done in 4 days--and used the strategy of asking nicely, having extreme empathy, being firm, and listening. Well worth it--thank you Andrew for a job well done.
