I found myself in a very bad position in life. Facing up to 25 years in prison. Obviously a very chaotic and trying period of my life. Thank god I had Andrew as my attorney. His calming, knowledgeable, honest, Caring demeanor really was a light through a dark period. Andrew is a man of integrity that honestly fought for me as well as my family. I truly owe this man a debt of gratitude that I'm not sure I'll ever be able to pay back. But knowing Andrew he would just smile and dismiss any compliment as him just doing his job. His knowledge of the specifics of the laws that applied to my case is second to none. Andrew Monteleone one day will be a judge. Guaranteed.
I hired Andrew for a slip and fall incident where I suffered significant life altering injuries including a fracture and chronic pain. As someone in her 20s who’s otherwise 100% healthy this has been quite traumatic. I ended up hiring Andrew after interviewing many lawyers as he and his partner Jared made a hard sell and I spent hours talking with both of them about the details about my case (disclosing every piece of data/background I had) — and they assured me they were perfect for the job and would fight for me. Almost 2 years after the accident and significant following up on my part, Andrew decided to drop my case with a mere 5 minute phone call answering almost none of my questions. If the facts of the case hadn’t changed since we first talked and he agreed to represent me, why wouldn’t he move forward with fighting it? When it came to light the venue had a video of the incident, Andrew admitted he had never even seen the video (if he had — he would have noticed the unsafe conditions which the venue’s insurance company conveniently left out of their interpretation — including lit candles on each of the stairs underneath the railings). Ultimately, I don’t believe Andrew will fight for you when the insurance companies don’t outright offer a quick settlement — and that’s a shame. Thankfully I am fortunate enough to have been able to afford my tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills but I know that’s not the case for everyone and I’d urge you to do more research before selecting this firm. I wasn’t looking for someone that takes a bunch of cases to “see what sticks” and then drops the others — I was looking for someone who will stand up to insurance companies & ask the hard questions.
