S. Drew Parkinson gave me some legal counsel for my business. I was very impressed with his level of expertise and experience on the matter. He explained things in a matter that I could understand and made sure I knew what to do moving forward. I will continue to use him in any of my business matters.
I have consulted with Drew many times. His work is always exceptional and timely. I would 100% recommend to others and already have directed family and business associates his direction!
Drew was my legal representation on some deals when I had to go out of the country for a few weeks. Drew was great to work with as I gave him the rundown of the deal and even overlooked the agreements to make sure they were in order. He met with the other party and made sure the deal was worked up in order as well. I was in touch with both Drew and the other party throughout the process to make sure and the whole process was completed without any headache. Drew was easy to get a hold of and answered all my questions to make the deal was done without any issues.
Helped a lot with all the questions that I had. Knows a lot. A really good attorney and very helpful. Would recommend him to my friends and family.
We went to Drew for an easement issue on a private lane. We hired him to draft a letter. He said it would be his hourly rate of 200 for the letter. When he sent us the draft, we had to rewrite a large portion of it. The header on the letter was from a previous client. His work was marginal and what we had already learned on "findlaw" gave us better answers than Drew could provide. The letter, after our edits, was fine. However, we ended up paying $75 for the initial consult, $220 for the letter (that is hard to believe it took longer than 30-45 minutes to draft), and we also had two $60 charges (one to answer an email asking if the neighbors had responded since the deadline had passed--he answered no and to give them a few more days; and the other to "review" the response from the neighbors which was a handwritten note saying a response from an attorned would be coming in a couple weeks). We were floored that he charged $120 for two things that only took a couple minutes each. If $60 is his "minimum" charge, okay, but then maybe only charge for one. Overall, a just-okay letter and advice that we could find online, cost us $415. Not worth it. I would pass on using this attorney.
