Andrew kept me transparent about the progress of the case from the get-go and most important did not make any false promises. He projected the possible outcomes at every stage of my divorce case, which helped me make smart decisions about proceedings. He has very high attention to details which made things lot clear and we were on the same page throughout the proceedings. I would highly recommend him.
I have been working with Attorney Andrew Keutmann for a few months now on a complicated divorce case. After changing 2 attorneys I thought I would have never met a person more trusting and committed to his clients than Andrew. Not only Andrew is a top notch attorney, but he is a genuinely great human being who truly cares about what is best for myself and most importantly my children. Andrew is a thorough lawyer that does not overlook any detail and with a great presence in the court room. I would not ever look further for someone to represent me!!!
A most excellent family law attorney, and believe me, I know the difference. Having worked with lawyers for most of my employment history, Andrew stands out as one of the best. He showed a real interest, not only in my case, but in how it was affecting me and my children. My kids took a real liking to him and he always treated all of us with respect. His wealth of legal knowledge and skill meant there was never an unnecessary or overinflated charge, all filings and necessary actions taken care of in a timely manner. He always returned my calls promptly, and I never felt rushed, or as if what I had to say wasn't important. He has a strong courtroom presence, and I truly felt he had our best interests at heart throughout. Going through a divorce, you don't give trust easily, so for me to feel I could trust him speaks volumes not just to his skills, but his character. I would highly recommend him for anyone, male or female, who is looking for someone knowledgeable and caring to tend to their most personal family issues.
Andrew helped us process a second parent adoption. He explained the whole situation and made it totally painless for us. He kept in touch with the court to check in on progress and kept in good touch with us throughout. He helped us navigate the rules to avoid having to do a home visit or court appearance, since both parties were on the birth certificate. Very thoughtful and pleasant to work with.
Andrew helped me with a custody case with my ex and listened to my concerns and needs thoroughly. He represented me to the fullest and got me exactly what I needed to move forward in life with my family. He also gave me some advice in the future when I moved out of state and needed some quick info via email. Very friendly and diligent!
Attorney Keutmann helped me to promptly get a power of attorney that I could use abroad in order to have my marriage recognized. He was very proactive and knew exactly what kind of hurdles I may encounter while I did not. His work was outstanding. In addition, he was always available to help and very affable.
Mr. Keutmann was an associate that I worked with during my divorce. He worked very hard and did a great job with my divorce. He seemed very smart and knowledgeable but also knew what he didn't know and was honest about it. But he would always get me an answer even if it sometimes took a couple of days. Most importantly he was able to talk to my insane ex-wife and her, at times, equally insane lawyer and move things along.
I hired Andrew in 2015 to handle my divorce. When I hired him I explained that my case was highly contentious and complicated and I asked him if he could handle such a case because he did not have much experience at the time and he assured me that he was the right person for the case. That was one of the biggest mistakes I have made in my life. Andrew could not have done a worse job. I paid him over $100,000 to represent me and my case turned into a circus show. My case went to trail and Instead of admitting that he was over his head he tried the case. I suggested that we get a more experienced Co-counsel which he was against. The results of my judgement was atrocious. I lost legal custody of my children, I was awarded 45% of the assets, and I was only given $600/week in alimony. He was completely intimidated by my ex-husband and his attorney. This was absolutely crazy!!! I gave up my career as a veterinarian to put my ex-husband through medical school, raised our children while he started his career and became very successful, I worked for my ex for free for 6 years and these were the results? The most disappointing thing was that Andrew thought that this was a good judgement. A year later I’m still in disbelief. In addition he was more intent on getting his retainer then working on getting a fair and equitable result. In the end of our relationship he would only communicate with me through email, he would not answer any of my calls and he was disinterested in trying to resolve any post divorce issues. He was more concerned what the judge thought about him then representing me as his client. Perhaps if you have a simple divorce he would be ok but if you have a divorce that has the least bit of animosity STAY AWAY!!! I have since hired a new attorney and she is MY advocate, she is realistic but is working for me, something I did not feel that Andrew did at all during my 4 year relationship with him. Divorce is such a hard thing to go through in the first place but when you have an attorney that is incompetent it becomes exponentially worse!!!
