I worked with Andrea through a private adoption. The entire process was nothing short of incredible. She was kind, compassionate, and incredibly direct on all communications we had. When we came upon some hiccups in the home study process, she immediately took action to solve the problem. I would recommend Andrea to anyone looking for help in this situation.
Andrea made a very difficult time in my life easier. She was caring and sympathetic to me as she help me thru my divorce. She understood our need to work thru a lot of the details so we didn't incure a lot of expenses. She had an answer for all of my questions, if she didn't know at the time she always got back to me promptly with the information.
Andrea represented me in my divorce a couple years ago. She was professional, easy to work with, and good at both mediation and going to court. We were able to settle the parenting part of the case in mediation, and I felt she did a great job representing my interests there. She was knowledgeable about the law and did a good job of informing me of my options while checking to see how I felt about things. I am very happy with the parenting plan we came up with. We ended up going to court on property and she was prepared, knowledgeable, and nothing short of a zealous advocate for my interests. We got a great result. I highly recommend her to anyone that needs legal counsel.
Andrea Utick Fox is the most professional and intelligent attorney I could ask for. I found her knowledge of the law outstanding. She helped me acquire everything I wanted in my divorce. She was absolutely wonderful while handling my divorce. In addition to her great knowledge of the law she is the most positive, caring, fantastic person I could have ever asked for. She helped me in many ways get through a most difficult time in my life. I could not have done it without her.
Andrea was there for me during my 3 1/2 year long divorce. She handled many twist and turns with well thought responses. She helped me stay grounded. In the courtroom she kept a calm and profession. I would have Andrea represent me in any future needs I may have!
At first contact seemed to understand wants/needs and supported them.Would not meet with me prior to mediation, except for me to sign the contract and make a payment, only sent a "Mediation Brochure" and expected that to be all the information I would need. Would not meet to discuss plan, preferred to do it "at mediation."Then did NOTHING at mediation to help, sat there and basically left me alone to make decisions, let mediation lawyer badger me, was not helpful at all.I left with a worse parenting plan then I came in with. When I brought my dissatisfaction to her attention, she made it seem like I had unrealistic expectations and that it wasn't her job to "support" me in mediation. Then why was she there? What did I pay for? A brochure. She pushed for court over and over and then told me I would most likely lose court, the day of mediation! Did not support any of the changes that would have benefited me in the case. I felt blindsided and ganged up on by the two lawyers and I still get very sad thinking of the time I have lost with my child, mostly because my lawyer did not do her job. Mediation is a very stressful situation for anyone, and we hire counsel to help us make the best decisions and to have someone "on our side", and I felt I was alone in that room and it was very unpleasant. I was insulted several times, unprofessional comments were made, and then once I submitted my letter of complaint she was even more insulting. My child is my life, and I am a wonderful parent, and now my life has become more difficult and I have to go through this stressful process all over again and spend more money, that I don't really have. When it comes to this, cheap is not better, for sure. I wish I would have went with someone who charged more, and did actually work on my case. Not just a few phone calls, emails, and a brochure, and then act like she didn't know anything about what I wanted once we were in the mediation room. Not enough experience, obviously, and maybe someday she will gain that but she needs to listen to her clients first, and do her job, and take these matters more seriously.
