About
Rob LeChevallier practices business law, business formation, estate planning, trust administration, probate and real estate law. He was admitted to the Oregon Bar in 1978, and he is a member of its Business Law, Securities, Estate Planning, and International Sections. Rob is also admitted to the Washington State Bar. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oregon in 1978 and his bachelor's degree in history and political science, cum laude, from Willamette University in 1975. Rob serves as corporate counsel for a variety of manufacturing and service companies. He has been described by The Oregonian 6/12/2003 as “the legal professions equivalent of a midwife” to hundreds of businesses in the Portland area. Rob particularly focuses on the estate planning needs of business owners, who are often so preoccupied with their business that they neglect their own succession issues. Rob prepares estate plans for business owners and other high net worth individuals and their families with an emphasis on succession and tax planning. Rob is a past president of the Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce and was a 15 year board member. Rob is also on the past board member of the Oswego Heritage Council and currently is President of the Lake Oswego Rotary Club. He is passionate about crating opportunities for youth and has run an ethics contest for 7th and 8th graders for Rotary District 5100. Rob is co-founder of the Kruse Way Economic Forum, founded as a venue for informed presentations and open discussion of economic issues affecting Northwest business. In his free time Rob enjoys spending time with his wife, their five children and his four grandchildren.
