I cannot say enough great things about Amy's legal representation in a riparian dispute (someone who owns property with a shoreline) between my mother and her neighbor. Her advice and counsel have been outstanding and beyond the scope of litigating with an extremely difficult defendant (my mother's neighbor). I was extremely impressed regarding her preparation and thoroughness for our family's case. If anyone requires legal advice concerning riparian issues, Amy Jonker and her firm, Bloom Sluggert PC, are definitely the individuals you want to contact.
We cannot say enough great things about Amy Jonker and her ability to represent us in our lawsuit. Her professionalism, timeliness, thoroughness, honesty, ability to explain the law in layman’s terms and preparedness were outstanding. While our lawsuit was in relation to riparian rights, lakefront property, we are confident that there are many other areas of expertise that Amy would be excellent representation for. Amy was delightful to work with and always maintained a professional polished demeanor when appearing before the judge or opposing counsel yet felt “real” and “human” when we were one on one. She was always prepared extensively for multiple angles that the defense could take on our lawsuit when we appeared before the judge. She repeatedly made opposing counsel look unknowledgeable about the law and backed up her knowledge with multiple case law cases. She always had the answers for the judge as well to give him further content into the meaning of the law or case law. She also knew when to consult with other counsel within the firm, Bloom Sluggett, PC, for additional expertise in the subject matter. Lastly, we appreciated her honesty with us about angles and ideas that had little or no grounds when concerning the law. And her ability to explain why we presented certain case law, what the judge meant, what opposing counsel meant or was trying to do, and why we presented charges we knew we might not win. Amy is an excellent lawyer and we highly recommend her!
