I have used different lawyers in the past for various reasons. However, for my recent divorce I worked with two. I fired my first lawyer and obtained Mrs. Blackwell. The first lawyer sat on the divorce case for a year, I paid out over $7, 000, met only twice and never filed any papers with the courts. Suzanne is so rude. She made me go to the ATM for the consultation fee and wouldn't talk to me at all until I had cash. Then she and Amy really screwed me over. I had 50/50 time with ex. Been paying him $500 a month. Then they allowed him to have the tax credit on the youngest child til 18. I didn't even see that till later. Also I am paying all insurance, medical expenses for the kids. So unless you want to be the 2nd woman in Tennesse to pay everything don't do 50/50 and please find someone else. I am still trying to untangle their mess. More lawyers more expense. Go somewhere else.
