My company retained Amanda for Tradmark work, and by virtue of that, she moved into helping us in many other areas of business. The Trademark work was flawless, and the general counsel type of work she did was exceptional. She has a keen mind for business. When needs arise, which they inevitably do, she is the attorney we call.
I was referred to Amanda from a friend who is also a client of hers. Amanda has lived up to all of the great things I heard about her. If you are looking for an intelligent, caring, thorough Attorney who speaks to you in layman’s terms then she is undeniably the perfect choice!
I've worked with Amanda on numerous occasions. She is informed, decisive, and inspiring. She helped guide our company in a deliberate strategy regarding a very important Trademark.
When you've spent years of blood, sweat and tears building up a identifiable brand, it becomes more then just a company, it becomes a extension of who you are. Reaching out to any attorney is something that always makes me cringe. With a recent trademark infringement I reached out to Amanda Mclaughlin, and what I originally thought was going to be a long, drawn-out, costly process was taken care of straight away. Amanda laid out my options up front and came up with a strategy moving forward to protect my brand and all of the years of hard-work I invested into it. I would HIGHLY recommend Amanda Mclaughlin to any person or company that wants to have their all of that hard work protected.
In the middle of a merge of 2 companies my position was eliminated and I was offered a position far below my years of experience with lower pay and an impossible daily commute. The offer was a "take it or leave it" position designed to get me to quit voluntarily so as to my employer avoiding having to pay for unemployment. Amanda was brilliant in advising me of "Constructive Termination" and my former company accepted this and agreed to unemployment benefits.
She's top-notch. I've met others of her clients, and they agree: she's an attorney you want working for you. Gets right to it; doesn't waste time; knows her business - helps you with yours. I recommend her highly.
I have utilized Ms. McLaughlin for contract reviews several times and have found her to be extremely knowledgeable as well as catching important terms and conditions that would potentially pose as a serious liability for my organization. Her responses have all come back in an very timely manner and if I had to refer anyone to an competent and professional attorney, Ms. McLaughlin would always be the first and foremost.
