About

As an associate attorney in Saalfeld Griggs’ Estate Planning practice group, Amanda’s practice primarily focuses on trust and will drafting, estate and trust administration, and probate and protective proceedings (guardianships and conservatorships).Amanda is passionate about advising clients on strategies to achieve their estate planning goals during life, on obtaining legal authority to make legal and financial decisions for people who can’t through guardianships and conservatorships and helping navigate the administration of a loved one’s trust or estate after they have passed away. Amanda enjoys helping people through difficult times, so this line of work was a natural fit for her. Planning for death or dealing with it after a loved one has passed away can be an emotionally difficult process, so Amanda seeks to ease and simplify that process by providing efficient and effective assistance to her clients.Amanda graduated from Willamette University’s College of Law and Atkinson Graduate School of Management, earning a joint JD and MBA. During law school, Amanda served as the Managing Editor of the Willamette Law Review and as Vice President of the Student Bar Association. Amanda was selected to become a member of the Order of Barristers, a national honor society for oral advocacy, because of her exceptional work on Willamette’s Moot Court. Before moving to Salem, Amanda lived in Anchorage, Alaska, where she studied psychology and criminal justice and volunteered with at-risk and incarcerated youth and women. She also worked in the hospitality industry as a restaurant manager.
