About

Allison Naylor is an associate with Chawla & Ravani. Since joining the firm, Ms. Naylor has worked on numerous residential and commercial real estate transactions, including the representation of 18 individual condominium unit owners in the sale of their units to be deconverted to rental units. She has reviewed and drafted corporate and business law transactional documents, including corporate formation documents, licensing agreements, joint venture and partnership agreements, and employment agreements. She has also assisted in performing legal research and drafting briefs and motions for various cases before the Circuit Court of Cook County.Ms. Naylor graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law where she focused on corporate and business law. While in law school, she earned the CALI award for legal writing as a first year student, and worked as a teaching assistant for legal writing courses as a second year student. She participated in Loyola University Chicago School of Law’s prestigious moot court program for two years as a brief writer for the American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition. In her second year on the team, she won Best Brief at the Washington D.C. regional competition, writing the highest scoring brief in the competition.During law school, she interned for the United States Senate, where she helped to provide assistance to constituents. She also interned in the Senate Policy Office for the Rhode Island Senate, where she performed legal research for proposed Senate bills and drafted Senate resolutions. As a judicial extern in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Law Division, Commercial Calendar, she performed legal research on complex issues in commercial cases and assisted in drafting case decisions. She also assisted in drafting the rules and annotations for Mandatory Arbitration in Commercial Calendar cases in Cook County and co-authored an article about the program.Prior to law school, Ms. Naylor completed her undergraduate studies at Bryant University in Rhode Island, graduating cum laude with honors. She earned a B.A. in Politics & Law with minors in Business Administration, Communication, and Literary and Cultural Studies and successfully completed the honors program requirements, including an honors senior thesis on the International Criminal Court.
