This Lawyer, Alisa Marion hurt our family. She collected all of my father’s medical records and consulted with experts. On July 1, 2013, I received a message from my brother that she contacted him and wanted to meet with the family to discuss the case. She told me via text that she could meet me at my home since she lived 5 miles from my house. I had told her to give me dates and we would accommodate her. This texting from her went on for about a month. She was never available and did not even try to contact me verbally. The Statutes of Limitations was running out in November, 2013. I called her office and left a message to have her please phone me, so we can make a definitive time, since we were approaching the deadline. The next thing I saw was a text message from her, stating that she had tried to accommodate my family and she would be sending us back the medical records and we can seek another lawyer. Ms. Marion left us in the lurch to find another lawyer and made my mother cry. After all this was the man that she was married to for 56 years. If you want to hire this attorney, be aware that you would have conversations via text and she may at the last moment decide not to work with you. She kept us in a vacuum for a month and now we are running around trying to find another attorney, which at this point may not happen. I pray that the lord helps us find a professional lawyer, unlike Ms. Marion. This is highly unethical and uncaring to the need of my family already dealing with a grief stricken situation.
