She earned Book Awards in Asylum, Bankruptcy, and Florida Bar & Skills and was treasurer of the Hispanic American Law Student Association. She is a member of the American Immigration Law Association and the Central Florida Bankruptcy Law Association. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Burgos worked as a Bankruptcy paralegal for more than eight years.
